Pulpo a Galega
galician style octopus served with paprika and olive oil
half avocado shell stuffed with a crabmeat and shrimp salad
Arrived at casa d’ paco to celebrate Mother’s Day with our kids. Let’s start this with me saying this is one of our favorite spots to dine and hv a good time. Once again Casa DID NOT disappoint!!!
The food and service are top notch. We ordered several tapas that included aguacate relleno, empanadillas de pollo, mini crab cakes, pulpo a galega, camarones al ajillo, zamburillas rellenas, and finished with the paellaCasa d’Paco. All of these dishes were well prepared flavorful and oh so delicious. I implore you to visit the website for the brief description of these dishes. We ordered some a couple pitchers of their Sangria as well as a bottle of their house White Wine!!!!
A great time was had by all, total appreciate the family atmosphere and you could tell everyone there was enjoying themselves!!!!
Casa d’Paco is no doubt one of our favorite locations!!!!!
When we want authentic Spanish food that includes the upbeat atmosphere and fantastic service, we only think of casa de paco. Always a great night out with terrific food. We loved the special tapa and especially the house wine! Thank you for a terrific meal!
We booked a last minute table here for lunch before heading to the Prudential Center for an event, and it was above expectations!! The food was amazing, everyone was so nice, and we had such a great experience. Parking is difficult to find, so having a valet is perfect! And I highly recommend the white wine sangria :)
Awesome dinner like usual. Food was delicious and the service makes you feel like family.
Delicious food great service
The best Spanish tapas anywhere. This place is a must! Make a reservation or you may not get in..The chorizo was superb, the chicken and hot peppers was fabulous ant the flag was as good as anything I ever ate is Spain.. The service was spectacular and to top everything off, the sangria was scrumptious.
Amazing ambiance, amazing tapas, amazing drinks, and even more amazing service! Casa de Paco is the perfect place to sit back for drinks and apps, I highly recommend!
Amazing tapas, excellent service! Place is small so you need a reservation. Only downside is parking ..horrible Newark parking dilema..but they do have valet parking. Just very hectic at times.
Muy buena la comida. Lo único malo que a cada rato lo apresuraban a uno para beber lo que se tenía en mesa.
Great place to eat and have a good time with friends. Food and drinks were good but in the pricey side. 5 starts to service! Our server was so attentive and knowledgeable of what to get that made the experiences even better, what a sweetheart. Overall a great experience!
Nice spot with great food. A lot of great tapas choices that for me was different which was cool. Would definitely recommend.
I love this place. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is really cool!
Good table service but a little too fast, good food a little over priced for what you get, worst was the noise level very high from speakers, people talking & actually screaming very loud, we couldn't each other from our own table, would recommend and probably if in the area will go again. Thanks
good food but crowded and too loud for small conversation
Food is ok. Service was great. People and music is extremely loud. Not a repeat for me.
Great food, nice atmosphere, attentive wait staff and one of my favorite dining destinations in Newark's Ironbound district, and that's saying a lot because this area is filled with top quality Portuguese and Brazilian dining options.
I’ve been going to this place for 5 years. There’s actually a funny story between me and the owner, Angel. Didn’t start off so great. But once I took him up on his offer to prove his sincerity and I wore an actual shirt, the rest was history. Took my boyfriend with me to experience the restaurant and meet Angel. Sweetest, kindest man I’ve met. Food was amazing as always and the drinks were dangerously delicious as always too. Stayed for flan.
The experience was amazing. One caveat: it was a bit crowded for a Saturday during Covid times (this place also isn’t the biggest; they DO have outdoor seating but it wasn’t an option). So, If you’re still uneasy about crowds but still wanna experience amazing food, service, and atmosphere, go on a weeknight when it’s less crowded.
Always excellent. Great food and great service
First time visiting and everything was amazing!! We definitely be back
Love it. Flavors are there . I just wish it were bigger
Once again, Casa de Paco did not disappoint! It was my husband’s birthday and he loved everything single item we ordered. They even provided a complementary dessert!
The patio is now closed. Tables inside too close.
Now there is a charge for parking....
Great tapas plates and drinks - slow roasted beef short ribs are delicious
excellent food and service
Casa de Paco is one of our favorite tapas restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is great. We enjoy this place every time we visit.
Small cozy place but amazing food. The flan was mouthwatering so was all other dishes !
Used to love this place but since COVID, they have gotten really careless. The food used to be amazing... NOW ? Mediocre at best. And they need to stop using back corner table inside because there is no access to it if there is another party sitting next to it. I had to grab my own plates from my server across a whole other table and had to yell my order.
Amazing food and drinks service was amazing and our waiter was amazing definitely recommend this place. Definitely will be going back
Delicious and authentic Spanish tapas. Paired with some great cocktails and you have a great dining experience.
Ambiance and lighting was great for a Valentines day dinner. The tapas were great. The drinks were delicious.
wonderful people, great food. Sooo cold in the pandemic
Always a favorite restaurant. Great food, value, and vibes. You won’t regret it! GET THE PULPO.
Great Food, great drinks and great atmosphere A+++❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love Casa d'Paco! I have been coming here for years and never once have I been disappointed by the food or the service.
This is the second time I’ve been here and again it went well. The drinks were great and the food was amazing. We tried almost everything on the Hot Tapas menu. Everything that came I liked and so did the rest of the people at my table. This is such a great place to get together with friends! They have the cutest decorations in their outdoor dining area, the nicest staff and they always have great music playing the whole time. Definitely coming back for dinner again and to try brunch.
excellent food and service
Excellent food and wine list, service was also impeccable. One of the best in Newark.
Casa d’Paco is always amazing. The food was great and the new outdoor patio area is beautiful. The music was very loud during brunch, but I enjoyed it. My only complaint is that the tables were entirely too close together — barely 3’ let alone 6’!
Absolutely horrible service , not even able to sit down and get a gentle . After making a reservation, confirming by phone and showing up at the restaurant with 4 people , I was told we had to wait for a table ( meanwhile I had made a reservation), after 40
Minutes of waiting was offered a bar table suitable for 2 while we were 4 people . First time at this restaurant and will never come back again. Last but not least , overcrowded with people , will never know it’s a pandemic going on .
Service, food, and ambiance are always exceptional when we come to Casa d'Paco.
This last time, we had the soup, Crema De Camaron
shrimp bisque, and Ensalada De Las Islas, Costilla De Vaca Asada, and Crab Cakes. The children, had chicken fingers, my son and I loved the paco sliders too!
Antonio was our waiter he was very professional and attentive but the other staff was waiting on us as well!
