our food came half cooked BEFORE we even got our drinks.
Very flavorful and well presented.
Service was absolutely horrible.
Server didn’t seem to care, made mistakes with orders, and was quite rude when we asked if blaring music could be turned down.
If you want to eat this food get take out. Don’t subject yourself to horrendous service in an unappealing atmosphere so loud that we could not converse.
Not returning anytime soon if ever
Very disappointing the food portions were really small. The chicharrón portion is not even shareable and the tostones looked like frozen ones not fresh at all. Service was also very slow. The drinks weren’t as good either overall I wouldn’t recommend this place and is very unfortunate I was really looking forward to trying out this restaurant.
Great food! Spices are perfect and good portions, loved the plantains, with the Havana Scramble, also great cocktails. Everyone there seemed to be having a great time, looking forward to their outdoor event in the summer!
Wasn’t sure what to expect given its location. Pleasantly surprised. We were well taken care of. Food was delicious, enjoyed the Latin soundtrack. Would definitely come back to enjoy the patio which was closed because of the rain.
Beautiful space, amazing atmosphere and the food was delicious!
Surprisingly pleasant, interesting menu. The fried whole fish was superb.
My daughters birthday
Great food and drinks! Will definitely be back!
Food and atmosphere are excellent! Very cool cuban vibe - lots of great drinks as well.
Wonderful Sunday Brunch. Highly recommend the Cubans Benedict, perfectly prepared. Also enjoyed a special Cuban-style Mimosa and coffee con Leche with cane syrup. Delish!
Food came out super fast, which was impressive. Selection for beers, and drinks is good. Menu a bit small , and wish a few other items were presented. My wife liked the place although a bit small, but she's a very picky eater, and wish the menu had some other items. For us it was a one timer, gave it overall 4 stars, because service was fast, selection of beer, but not of food and space.
Food was delicious and great ambience. Drinks are amazing, really enjoyed this food
The Ambiance was cute, the food was mediocre to gooddepending on the dish. Unfortunately the service was terrible the server never came back to check on us or ask us if we wanted more drinks. Desserts took 40 minutes to come to the table and that was after we asked about them. We also had to go ask the manager for the check the manager made an effort to compensate by removing our alcohol from the bill. Even after that had to ask a different server to run the card to pay. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend this location.
We enjoyed the ambiance at Casa Caña. The music was good and makes for a fun Friday night hang-out. We ordered the black bean dip, the ceviche, two Cuban sandwiches, two cocktails (mojito and Copacabana), a Harpoon IPA, and a tres leches to seal the night.
On the food:
-The Cuban sandwiches were delicious, perfectly toasted and full of meat and flavor. Would definitely order again!
-The black bean dip was ok, nothing special and would probably not order again. (It’s pretty much a cub of blended canned black beans with a little cheese on top).
-The ceviche was gone in three bites. It was good but for $12 the portion was TINY.
-The Copacabana cocktail was delicious, it has a perfect passion fruit taste. The mojito was 80% ice.
-Finally the tres leches left us all disappointed. It’s probably the worst tres leches I’ve ever had. It tasted like wet pound cake and that’s being nice! Even the server agreed with us, I just wished she would have told us prior to ordering it.
All in all, we would return for the Cuban sandwiches and for the ambiance.
Really wanted more from the food and drinks... all good, but not anything I'd getting supper excited about especially given the price. It's not cheap and doesn't need to be, but would expect higher quality. Service was great!
Delicious food, great service, not to expensive and also great music 🎶
Excellent food, modern Cuban cuisine. We ordered both salads, one with figs and the other with pumpkin slices on arugula. Both were delicious. Also ordered the black bean dip with homemade chips was fantastic, shrimp was tasty and the whole fish was juicy and perfectly cooked served with a mango salsa. Cocktails were great too. We look forward to returning when the weather allows for outdoor dining—there’s a large patio just outside the restaurant. I recommend this restaurant.
Excellent place, service, food, ambiance, music, drinks excellent; planning to go back soon.
Menu is very interesting and inviting especially the drink section.
The food portions are very small. Latin countries sell larger empanadas then a two bite version. All the food was tasty but very small to share as a table of four. It’s disappointing because although it’s not authentic Latin cuisine it is nicely done. Best thing and less costly item had to have been the Cuban sandwich.
Service became very frantic as the place started to fill up. Our waitress was very genuinely apologetic for missing a drink order but couldn’t keep her head above water as more people came in. She was nice enough to remove the drink from the bill which will probably help us come back for another visit. Nice vibes and concepts but for the cost some portions should be more generous especially the ropa vieja and black beans which is a traditional Cuban dish in abundance.
It was hard to determine which food we liked best cause they were all different and wonderful at the same time!
Nice atmosphere, service was great! Also great drinks and good food.
