M Sushi Cary is Michael Lee's second location dedicated to high-quality seafood. Our menu is small, purposeful, and uses only very special seasonal seafood received directly from Japan, Korea, and the US. The quality of our dishes is a direct result of our dedication to fresh ingredients, and our emphasis placed on maintaining traditional Japanese and Korean Cuisine. We specialize in traditional nigiri and sashimi courses in addition to a once in a lifetime Grand Omakase. M Sushi was ranked in 2022 in OpenTable's top 100 restaurants in American. Also, the only restaurant to make the list from North Carolina.

Good ambiance and good sushi! I wouldn't say it is the best in Raleigh, but it is definitely a great spot for a yummy bite and great drinks.

The omakase was good and the chef was very kind and professional. However, I found a foreign object in the tamago that I nearly swallowed. I immediately informed the server, but unfortunately, they initially brushed it off and acted as if it wasn’t a serious matter, even handing me the bill without addressing my concern. I had to bring it up multiple times before the server finally took action, at which point it was confirmed to be a fishbone. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I was disappointed by how the server handled the situation. On the other hand, the chef responded professionally and sincerely apologized, which I truly appreciated. I hope the service staff can take this as an opportunity to improve their attentiveness and accountability.

The Grand Omakase was spectacular in both presentation and flavor. It was truly a delight. The wait staff was professional, attentive, cheerful, and kind. An estimate of two hours for the meal was very accurate. The (new) location of M Sushi at Fenton was easily accessible with plenty of parking and the restaurant itself was organized, clean, and inviting. Overall, dining at M Sushi was a wonderful experience! Highly recommended and we will be returning.

My husband and I had a lovely date night at M Sushi, one of our favorite sushi spots. The food was amazing, and the service is always top-notch. Our server, Ben, was delightful and offered great assistance with our menu selections. We wanted to try new things, and he provided excellent recommendations. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
