M Sushi Cary is Michael Lee's second location dedicated to high-quality seafood. Our menu is small, purposeful, and uses only very special seasonal seafood received directly from Japan, Korea, and the US. The quality of our dishes is a direct result of our dedication to fresh ingredients, and our emphasis placed on maintaining traditional Japanese and Korean Cuisine. We specialize in traditional nigiri and sashimi courses in addition to a once in a lifetime Grand Omakase. M Sushi was ranked in 2022 in OpenTable's top 100 restaurants in American. Also, the only restaurant to make the list from North Carolina.

One of the best spots in town for sushi!! Everything they have is delicious, but the crispy rice with tuna was my favorite!! Will definitely be back again soon!

I've lost count of how many times I've eaten at MSushi in Fenton. Like the original restaurant in downtown Durham, it used to be tricky getting a reservation, but it's easier now. The staff is exceptional and the menu and speicials are explained well. And, honestly, I have never before had better sushi in my life. I've brought friends and family from NY, Boston, Tampa and LA to MSushi and all say its the best sushi they've ever had. Even those that have spent time in Japan have remarked on how good it is. Their fish is fresh. I don't know where the ownere source it, but they've found the best place by far.

I plan corporate dinners for our executives and VIP clients. M. Sushi was beyond outstanding! Everything from the wonderful tasting menu that the chef and team crafted so thoughtfully for our team to the exceptional service made the evening so special. Our team was visiting from Japan, and they said, “this was closest to an authentic homeland Japanese experience and the best sushi and they have ever had anywhere in the United States”! Our North Carolina team was also raving the next day all about the night, how amazing the food was, ambiance, and how great their chef and server treated them. I will certainly be using your restaurant more for our client meetings and special events. Again, thank you for hosting such an extraordinary dinner and experience!!!

My husband and I wanted sushi and had heard amazing things about M sushi so we got the last reservation available. We sat at the sushi bar ( highly recommend) and ordered a bottle of unfiltered sake IYKYKc crispy rice, and the M role. Everything was immaculate- from presentation to taste. If you don’t order the crispy rice you are missing out. I told my husband it may be the best thing I’ve ever tasted and that’s saying a lot as I lived in NYC for years and ate A LOT of amazing food. 10/10 don’t sleep on it!

This was my second time experiencing the Grand Omakase, and unfortunately, the quality has gone down since my first visit. The entire course took a little over two hours, with 15–30 minute gaps between dishes. That pace felt excessive, which made it difficult to stay engaged, and by the end, I found myself just wanting to leave. While the dishes were decent, they didn’t justify the $159 price tag, and overall, the experience was just okay. I don’t see myself returning to this restaurant.

Entrees showed up before appetizers. No solution from server. They threw the entrees in the server serving area to “solve” aka sit for 20 minutes and when we ate nothing tasted fresh or warm.

Good ambiance and good sushi! I wouldn't say it is the best in Raleigh, but it is definitely a great spot for a yummy bite and great drinks.

The omakase was good and the chef was very kind and professional. However, I found a foreign object in the tamago that I nearly swallowed. I immediately informed the server, but unfortunately, they initially brushed it off and acted as if it wasn’t a serious matter, even handing me the bill without addressing my concern. I had to bring it up multiple times before the server finally took action, at which point it was confirmed to be a fishbone. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I was disappointed by how the server handled the situation. On the other hand, the chef responded professionally and sincerely apologized, which I truly appreciated. I hope the service staff can take this as an opportunity to improve their attentiveness and accountability.
