My husband and I went for dinner. The octopus salad is amazing, and I"m not an octopus fan. The rib eye steak for two is to die for, but is a lot of food. This time I opted for the filet which was good, but not great. The braised short ribs that my husband ordered was excellent. The two side dishes, Mushrooms and cauliflower were excellent.
Wine list is extensive and sommelier is helpful.
Overall service is excellent. The team works together well and our seamless in checking on you, etc.
Best dining experience EVER! Our service was spot on. Food was the best I've had. We will be back!
I made reservations here to celebrate the girlfriend's birthday. We love having a food adventure, so we went with the beef tasting. It was a six course meal of significant portions that left us getting our tiramisu dessert to go. Our waiter, Lee, was outstanding! He explained each course; educating us on the type of beef, preparation, history of the dish etc. The best part of the beef tasting was we tried things we would never order by looking at the menu. Each course came out at the perfect time. Our server made sure how much time we allowed for dinner. My two favorites were the steak tar tar and 90 day dry aged bone-in Ribeye that was cut at table side.
Yes, it is expensive, but it's not like we get to eat that quality of food everyday. Go ahead, try it.
Not your "normal" Italian dinner, but it was superb. If you are looking for Pasta and meatballs, go elsewhere. If you are looking for a fine dining experience, you will not find a better experience. Not an inexpensive meal.
Located in the Palazzo, off the casino. Great food, great service. Went for my Birthday, and was glad I did.
Loved it, Carlos the waiter eas fantastic. Thank you!
Great as always the people are very friendly service is wonderful wine list is unbelievable you have to get the octopus appetizer unbelievable try this place you won't be disappointed
This is the best dining experience I gave ever had. Service was top notch. J.P. was incredible. He knew the menu well, made great recommendations and was such a pleasure to talk to. The food was off the chain. Steaks cooked perfectly and the marscapone mashed potatoes were to die for. The beef cheek ravioli was perfection. Finishing the meal with the strawberry strombolli was innovation and delicious.
Great Environment, Staff, and Service. Was running a little late and I called to tell them. They were very friendly and able/willing to hold my reservation a little longer. The staff was great and made great suggestions for us.
Our waiter was amazing. I wish I could remember his name. He made our dining experience unbelievable
My family and I chose CarneVino Italian steakhouse for our special night out while in Las Vegas. The staff was very knowledgeable and, for the most part, accommodating. The only suggestion I have is that the ambient music was too loud for conversation. We did ask for the volume to be lowered, but this was met with some resistance from our servers. We were told that the general manager was not agreeable to lowering the volume. This, we found preposterous, since the music truly did not fit the atmosphere or theme of the restaurant. Instead of being traditional Italian-themed music, it was random Sirius XM fare. Given the amount of money we paid, which was over $800.00, I think the staff should have been more accommodating in this regard. The food was excellent and the wine we chose was delicious. Apart from the "ambient" music, I'd rate this restaurant highly and may someday return.
Loved this place! We enjoyed the beef tasting menu and it was fabulous! Just the steak alone was reason enough to come here, but the tasting menu took it over the top. Also, best service we have experienced from a high end restaurant in a long time!
$90.00 steak was only OK. Side dish was served burnt. Taken off bill but still seemed unprofessional for this type of restaurant.
Small portions, prices too high and drinks not strong enough. I got the gnocchi and I got 8 pieces and they were tiny and not filling. Also got the blood orange cosmo in which I barely tasted alcohol! My bf got the filet which he inhaled as it was tiny! There are much better restaurants in vegas, skip this one!
We went to this restaurant because we were told they had the best steak in town. The steak was definitely superior in terms of flavor and texture. The pasta was also excellent and the 1985 Warre's Port was, as usual, delicious. I would recommend this place to a friend but only if the friend is OK with very loud music blaring throughout the evening. It was so loud, we had ask the waiter if it would be possible to turn it down a little. We couldn't even talk over the sound. So if you want an excellent steak and don't mind overpowering music, it's your place to go.
The food, the service, and the attention to detail is all almost overwhelming. Instead of reading the impressive wine list, ask for Phoenix, the Sommelier. Describe for her what kind of wine you really like and she will (without exception) find the perfect bottle for you that will wow your tastebuds. Her ability to find the right wine was the highlight of our dinner.
Overpriced, and not a very good experience all the way around. Mind you, I do not paying more! But we were all disappointed. Poor food quality. I had been there once before - for a business dinner, and left feeling the same way. My customer complained that his water was warm, and they could not - or would not make him happy. The little things. I will not be back.
This restuant is not worth your time or money. Spend your time and money elsewhere.
Terrible service and I mean TERRIBLE, very over priced, just ok food. There's not much more to say except STAY AWAY.
We brought our wedding party here for a post-ceremony dinner, and I must say we have not a single regret. The food was stellar, the service was always on point without prompting, and the atmosphere is lovely. A friend recommended we try the Ribeye for Two, and let me tell you...I don't regret going with that suggestion. My new husband and I went for it, and while I thought my bar for best steak was pretty high, this surpassed it easily. If you're thinking about going and you love quality beef, splurge on the Ribeye!
This is my fourth dining experience at CarneVino. If it were my last meal on Earth, I would choose CarneVino's Dry Aged Bone-in Ribeye and any random choice of side dishes. I am not exaggerating. I have had more than my share of exceptional meals, and for steak, CV is unmatched. The food is perfectly executed, and the wait staff professionally guides you through a world class culinary experience.
