The food was outstanding and the service was great. The food maybe came out a little too quickly but otherwise the quality and taste was brilliant. Highly recommend going - and get the Sangria too!

Great meal, steaks cooked to perfection. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Restaurant was almost empty, so I hope the same would be possible if it was more busy! But certainly look forward to going back.

We went on the extended Eat out to help out. The steak was lovely but only came with one side so either chips OR salad which I felt was not good value. The chips were poor quality kebab shop type ones. There was a large group blatantly altogether split across two tables with a small gap between, one of whom was coughing a lot and kept wandering around to go outside for a cigarette. Service was good. Would not return without the deal as despite lovely steak would be too expensive for me and sadly not covid safe. Whilst much of the problem lies with customers not playing by the rules, the restaurant could have done more.

Wonderful steaks, we had the platter with various steak types. Perfectly cooked, we like medium rare and they were all cooked to perfection. Only down point was no draught beers/lager, but that was probably due C19.

Good food with excellent service, particularly the young chap who served us, as he was happy to be serving post lockdown.

We went here during eat out to help out. Very good service originally, but went down a bit when it got busy and had to keep catching people attention. Two of us shared some tapas and the other three had steak. The steak was great, and cooked as requested. We weren’t a big fan of the tapas, calamari was originally over salted and over cooked but was quickly replaced when we complained. Tapas was ok, but would be better at a tapas restaurant, think here is better for the steak. Overall was an ok evening, but thank you for your hospitality.

We have been to Carmona twice since lockdown finished and both times the food has been very nice but the service is WAY too slow. Last Friday, we booked a table at 6pm, ordered food at 6:15pm and we got our food at 7:05pm. The waiters are lovely but the kitchen is far too slow, they need to get much better at managing time. It's only half full at the moment because of social distancing restrictions so there is no excuse to be so slow. It's a shame because the food is really good.

Well organised. In the current climate, we felt safe & suitably away from other diners. The waitress was very helpful & explained how we should order tapas (never having had it before). Food was delicious. We actually ordered too much, so will know to order less next time, but it was really lovely. A most enjoyable evening.

We decided not to go as the staff were not wearing face masks. This is a concern during a pandemic. One of our favourite restaurants in town but will not attend anything establishment if not Covid Safe. Best wishes

We loved it here and our waitress was charming. All the food was delicious and well cooked and presented. It was at 5pm so quiet but I imagine with the great music it would be a lot of fun later in the evening.
We will be returning ❤️

Better steak at Aldi and the wait for food was over an hour. Really poor. Cau was better.

Table booked at 8pm. They sat us down at 8.15pm and gave us menus. No drinks until we asked to be served at 8.50pm. Ordered. They forgot the water with the order. Had to ask again for the food. This was around 9.30pm. The issue was that they were trying to keep the labour cost low by only getting two waiting staff but kept on seating people. Most people we noticed were moaning about the wait. Food was OK but very overpriced even with a £40 discount. This is yet another average restaurant who think they can take advantage of you because its Guildford. My advice is there are so many restaurants in Guildford that do focus on service that makes them (not necessarily cheaper) but much better value for your money.

The food was excellent. We got seated by the front door which was a bit rubbish, felt like the tables could have been slightly further apart. We got a platter of four steaks. I think they missed a trick by not labeling which was which. Tasted Brilliant though

Greasy oversalted food. Polite and helpful waiting staff but only 2 of them, so a long wait for food.

Had a lovely visit monday 5pm, at first I was surprised and scared there was no waiters no other customers but we were greeted by chef and served by chef who I have to say was excellent and so was his cooking. Couldn’t have done better

Great service and excellent steakhouse with lots of FLS our and tender meat! Will definitely come back. Only thing that would change is the reggaeton music

This is a better place than my last experience suggests. It was just a bit lacklustre. Food was ok but it was average. I wonder if they were having an “off day.”

Awful, dirty, small portions, waiters not obtaining 2m distance. No PPE worn, no hand washing seen by any staff. We left half way through meal.

The restaurant was quite dark and the lack of music (although it was government guidelines) made it feel quite empty.

Excellent Tapas!
We had 5 dishes to share between two of us and they were all so tasty and filling! Washed down with a lovely glass of red. The staff were very attentive and the food came out quickly.
We had churros for pudding which were wonderful too!
Would thoroughly recommend this place and hope to visit again when we're back in the area for sure!
