The food and atmosphere were spectacular! The Ahi tuna was the best I've ever had with a combination you'd never think of. Next we had the short ribs which were absolutely delicious my mouth exploded with all the flavor not to mention the risotto- just amazing. I could go on for an hour so I will just say this restaurant is worth the drive and I will be going back for sure! Thank you Carmelina's for the best meal I've had out in a long time!

AMAZING food and really quick helpful service. Only wish we were able to sit near the window or in a slightly less cramped spot as I requested. It was very hard to hear each other.

Food good, but they served entrees too fast. Noisy, noisy not comfortable for dining. Loud conversations, plus dragging chairs. Poor acoustics.

Music much too loud! Atmosphere just ok. Small, tight tables. Was not a comfortable place, even for the North End. All four of us couldn't wait to finish our meals and leave. Would not return.

I thought the food was very good. Service could be better. Not quite sure why restaurants feel their servers and waiters should have an attitude ..... No reason for that type of treatment for 3 women out for an evening get together.

Service was exceptional! Our waitress earned 5 stars for the way she handled two mishaps. Neither was her fault; still she was graceful and gracious.

Decent Italian spot. Red gravy underwhelming and tomatoes on caprese weak for this time of year (August). Probably better options in North end.
