With a sharp aesthetic and a nod to the classic bones of the former Basta’s/Tasty Freeze restaurants building, Carina Lounge is a modern, mediterranean earth-toned palate that envelops you in light and warmth.

We had dined at Carina on 25 March and were pleased. However, this time, everything was poorly done. The server was indifferent. The food was so bad that we left without eating. Bread was burnt; wine delivered 30 minutes after request. Lasagna was deplorable.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Carina and would absolutely come back. I’ve already recommended it to friends. We enjoyed every dish so much that it was truly hard to pick a favorite. Service was warm and help and we loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Standout dishes were the goat cheese ravioli, the pork tenderloin and the saganaki but we also enjoyed the shrimp and Brussels sprouts. I definitely recommend ordering a bunch of small plates and sharing!

We were totally pleased and charmed. Great, varied menu, beautiful and delicious presentation. Our Server Sharina was delightful and attentive, as were others in Carina. Neighborhood social scene entertaining. Noise level, all happy sounds. We will return.

It was our 30th anniversary. Had an amazing time. We loved everything - the food, cocktails, where we sat and the joyful family nature of the staff.
