   Our meal was a mixed bag. We ordered drinks, bread and calamari to start. The calamari came first, then the bread, then the drinks. Kind of a strange order. The calamari was very good and a generous portion. The bread was OK. We waited a long time for our entrees. When they finally arrived, my friend's truffle pasta had the truffle shaved right there at the table, which was a nice touch. It smelled wonderful, and the dish was delicious. My dish (shrimp pasta) had clearly sat for a while as the sauce was a bit congealed. The shrimp were not great - one tasted like chemicals so I gave up on the dish. The staff were friendly, but the delays for the entree (it was not busy, we dined late at 8:45) and the strange order of things being brought to us marks the experience down. I don't think it was good value nor a particularly fantastic Italian experience. We weren't offered black pepper or parmesan for our dishes, either. Not sure if that's because it's a fancy restaurant or an oversight. I will add I was given 50% off my shrimp dish due to the shrimp tasting odd. Overall a 3/5 "OK" rating. Maybe we had an off day - some of the food clearly is decent. But for the price, it is hard to recommend, with so many other options around.

   Giorgio and the wine sommelier (I didn’t catch her name) made my birthday very special. We had a “chefs choice” meal that was out of this world delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough!

   The lobster risotto was stuck to the plate and it was lukewarm. The polenta side dish was brought to the table 10 minutes after the entree. The service was OK but not great. Although the beef carpaccio & the polenta were excellent, overall this is not what we expected from a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. We enjoy eating out at top restaurants, we will not be returning to Carama. Michael Mina’s StripSteak, also at Mandalay Bay, is a much better option.

   This was an outstanding Italian dining experience from beginning to end with some truly amazing proscuitto e burrata only to be complimented and elevated by the ricotta tortelloni and malfadine alle vongole. I highly recommend this delicious little gem with 5 star service. Thank you for a spectacular night out at Mandalay!

   Our server was absolutely wonderful! She gave us some food recommendations which is what we went ahead and ordered. She was not wrong. The entire experience was amazing from the nice hostess, to the beautifully decorated tables to the helpful waitress! Highly recommend!

    Probably the best place for a dinner if you are in Mandalay Bay. The service professional and friendly. Food is fresh beyond everything. Georgiano took great care of us.
