   I give it 5 stars not because it's perfect, but because there was nothing which detracted from a very enjoyable time. The nautical-themed atmosphere is both trendy and "old" like pirates. It works very well. I can only laugh that it took a minit as I tried to point out that the "Parlee Vous" cocktail name was spelled incorrectly! Then it hit me - haha! I'm not a big cocktails guy, but my guests really liked the "complexity" of the ones they ordered. Burrata Donuts and Crispy Fried Cauliflower were extremely tasty.

   We really love the neighboring Grass Skirt, but were disappointed with our experience at Captain’s Quarters. We arrived for our 7:30 reservation, only to be told our table wasn’t available so we needed to wait outside. (Unfortunately it was a rainy evening, so waiting outside was cold and wet, but that wasn’t Captain’s Quarters fault.) We checked in several times and the hosts told us it would be just a few minutes longer. We didn’t end up getting seated until 8. Once we settled in, we liked the food and drinks presented, but no stand outs like at Grass Skirt. Our group tried 4 of the tapas dishes and 7 of the different gin cocktails. The bar is very noisy, with small tables and pixelated underwater porthole screens, so the vibe felt like more of a strange mix between loud neighborhood bar and cool lounge. As we were signing our bill, the host come over to abruptly tell us that there were parties waiting behind us and we had already had the table for 2 hours and could we please finish our drinks and leave out the side door — we were truly just under the 90 minute mark since we were seated so late. It left a bad taste in our mouths - we felt like we were an inconvenience the whole time and then we were shooed out. I guess my expectations were too high, given the immersive atmosphere of Grass Skirt. Probably not coming back here.

   The cocktails were delicious. I opted in on two of the island bird cocktails. The bartender did a great job and drinks were visually appealing. We ordered the dessert called Fools Gold. It was sticky toffee date cake with honey yogurt and mint. It was the smallest portion of a dessert I think I’ve ever had. It was crumbled on a plate with gold leaf on top (gold leaf is a bit dated). The cake mixed with the honey yogurt and mint was paired perfectly. It was not worth the price. I was a little surprised when it came to the table how small it was. I would go back for the cocktails and ambience and recommend.

   Great atmosphere and the theme is creative and classy. So hapy to have a nice speakeasy like this outside of downtown. Highly recommend.

   Amazing experience, the bartender was so knowledgeable and kind. Happy hour was an incredible deal all the food was delicious.

   Fantastic venue. I assumed the drinks and food would just be ok, but I was wrong. They were all so tasty! Can’t wait to go back.

    We didn’t eat here but had post dinner celebration drinks. They were very accommodating of our cake (small cake fee) and lets us rearrange when our party was unexpectedly larger- they switch to standing room around 10pm so not everyone had to be at the table. The space is so beautiful and well designed. Saturday night DJ brought the party 💫
