The tagline for Capone's Coal Fired Pizza, is "Pizza so good it should be illegal." That is an understatement, because between enjoying the amazing decór and the delicious pizza and other menu items, it does feel a bit criminal to be so happy. This addition to the fun nightlife of the downtown Fort Myers, Florida area is clearly well thought out. What makes the pizza at Capone's Coal Fired Pizza so unique is that it is cooked in an 800 degree coal fired oven. The wings are coal-oven roasted, as are many of the sandwiches.Capone's Coal Fired Pizza doesn't stop with great pizza, however. The pasta is top-notch being made in-house daily and cooked al dente to soak up the specialty sauces. Be sure to check out the drinks from the full-service bar, including Capone's favorites and drinks dubbed perfect for mobsters and flappers.
