   Service and food were excellent. Not a particularly “cozy” place due to the hard surfaces and high ceilings, but the noise level is low and you don’t feel cramped. Good for a date. You feel welcomed and well taken care of.

   Our server & host were friendly and professional. We ordered a cheese board and the waiter described the various cheeses, where they came from, what their overall profiles were like. Very helpful. I would recommend to others and would come here again.

   It's busy but you can hear each other across the table. The space is small so it's a tight fit. Food was fresh but average in taste - not spectacular.

   Valentine’s Day and an early/afternoon reservation. The warm initial reception turned to inattention over the evening. We each ordered $32 Surf and Turf and wine. Received an EXCELLENT steak ...but a (shocking) lack/absence of “Turf”. The Lobster was almost completely missing!! Two tiny red scraps (claw scraps?) were LITERALLY the size of US 25 cent coins!! Unbelievable. No explanation. No apology. No checking back to see if we were ok. It was early, so they could not have simply “ran out of” lobster for their “Special Occasion” menu. Disappointing and hard to understand. Lobster aside, we liked the venue a lot and might try again with their normal menu.

   Amazing for Sunday brunch but make reservations as it’s busy. We love the Interesting and changing menu. Definitely a favorite in Raleigh

   Nothing memorable about our visit to Capita Club 16. We took advantage of Restaurant Week to try it out, and it was nothing special. The food was okay to good - the kitchen messed up my salad with no special orders or customization, a dish with root vegetables didn’t have a ton of flavor and was mostly rice, etc. The host was very unfriendly, and the service felt rushed. We will definitely not be back.
