   This was our first visit and it was delicious. We started with cocktails. My last word was delicious. Can't wait to try to make it at home. We split a wedge. Even split it was huge. The pecans are a must have. They are savory not sweet with the right amount of heat. The entree we split also. It was more than enough. The spare rib was really tasty. I would definitely recommend it.

   We had the perfect dinner at Capital Bar and Grill. We thoroughly enjoyed the beef short ribs and a New York strip. Perfectly cooked! Our sides of asparagus, parmesan fries, and potatoes were delicious as well. Molly was the best server ever! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Definitely ask for her table.

   We had a lovely dinner at Capitol Bar and Grill. It was our first visit to the hotel and it was so lovely! The food at the Bar and Grill was delicious and the service by Blaine was perfect. My husband had the shrimp and grits and I had a cup of the duck and andouille gumbo and the Cobb salad. All were perfectly cooked and yummy. We also shared a slice of the amazing strawberry cheesecake. We hope to return soon.

   Went to have dinner and drinks before a play. They were out of small plates for us to use when our appetizers came. It was loud and people were standing in the aisles of the restaurant. I expected a more upscale experience. The server and drinks were great and the food was fine. Not sure this is where I would choose to dine before another play though.

   We expected this restaurant to be first class being that its situated inside the fabulous Capital Hotel in Little Rock, but on a slightly more laid back basis being more of a pub type venue. The wait staff and the bartenders are all superb, friendly and attentive. But we could not have been more disappointed with the food and the prices which are on a par with the One Eleven Bar on the opposite side of the lobby of the hotel, which is exquisite fine dining, but the quality of the food at the Capital Bar is more reminiscent of a fast food diner. The problem is that the One Eleven is closed a couple of days a week so guests have no option on those occasions to eat at the Capital Bar, unless they want to leave the hotel to find somewhere else to eat.

   It was supposed to be date night- had no babysitter but they treated us like special guests and the steak was IMMACULATE. The chef put his ALL in those steaks! I’m still raving about it ! Last time I ate Capital Grill was in Orlando Florida 7 YEARS ago . This was just awesome! Wonderful host, wonderful Waiter , & immaculate chefs KISS 💅🏽🤌🏽

    The cocktails were pretty good, but very expensive. Also, we ordered 2 glasses of the Cabernet which were $18 a piece and it tasted like it was wine out of a box. If you are going to charge $18 for a glass of wine it should be delicious and it wasn't. We did enjoy the ambiance of the place and Justin our server was really great.

    The server tried. She really did, but they didn’t have half the stuff listed on the menu. I ordered the short ribs. It arrived as a giant chunk and had the texture of pot roast. I ate it without complaining, as it was pretty late in the evening already. Other bar patrons were excessively loud I definitely will not be back.

    Great food and great service, the capitol is such a beautiful iconic hotel it’s a shame people wear sweats and baseball caps at dinner and cant dress appropriately. Wish more place had dress codes

    The food was excellent and our servers and hostesses tried very hard. However, there was a large gala in the hotel that night, and many guests were loudly congregated in the bar and grill when we arrived. The noise level was unbelievable. The party goers were also quite self absorbed - placing glasses and purses on tables when the staff was clearly trying to seat people with reservations. It was very difficult for the servers to weave through the crowd, and to keep an eye on the tables they were trying to serve. The food was wonderful, and the staff did their best, but I was looking forward to chatting with my dinner partner, and that was impossible for half of the time we were there. I don't know how the staff could have handled the situation better, but I won't be dining there again on a Saturday evening. It wasn't the pleasant experience I had anticipated.

    Well, I can honestly say the meal was average and the experience less than expected, since we both ordered T-Bones at $50 per and neither of the steaks was cooked to taste, or specifications. Next, in attempting to salvage the meal with a dessert, I decided to order a chocolate rum tart, which was served as a piece of overcooked pecan pie with ice cream. Rather than raise a fuss, or sending it back, I simply ate it and paid the bill before we left. As a first experience at Capital, in Little Rock, I’m afraid to say, this may be our last visit to the hotel, also, in this city.

    Loved being back at the Capitol Bar and Grill. The food was great and we had excellent service. Wait staff was very accommodating, even set up a nice corner table by the window for us. Love the space and love the hotel. Historic!

    One of the BEST burgers in town! Love the brioche buns! Crispy fries and a great selection of cheese choices!!! Fun cocktails and you cannot beat that homemade pimento cheese and the homemade crackers!!!!!! Yum!

    I come here often as the hours work well with my work schedule and the quality is always good. Last night there were some challenges with holidays and short staffed. The manager and the entire staff were working extremely hard and did everything to offer a wonderful experience. It is worth the wait and the kindness and professionalism of everyone trying to make a wonderful experience was exceptional.

    Unfortunately there was no alcohol service that night even though it’s name is Bar and Grill. We were looking forward to a nice bottle of wine with dinner. There was no Indication that there was no bar service when the reservation was made.

    We had a fantastic Christmas Eve dinner here. I forgot our server’s name, but he went above and beyond to provide excellent service. The food was delicious and an outstanding value for the price. The restaurant itself was cozy yet upscale. We look forward to making Capital Bar and Grill our Christmas Eve tradition!

    We went the night before Christmas Eve. Our service was very good and the atmosphere is so nice. I had the shrimp and grits , they were very good with plenty of shrimp, my husband had the hamburger and said it was the best hamburger he had ever had and our friends split a rib eye they said it was tender and flavorful. the side vegetables were very good I tasted the brussel sprout and they were excellent . After our meal we enjoyed the lobby and getting our picture made beside the tree. The capital Hotel is such a special place and the Capital Bar and Grill did not disappoint.

    I was not very pleased with the table where we were seated! just inside the doorway! Everyone that walked by bumped into me! If you wanted to use every inch of space why not put up a screen or better yet a half wall! This was disappointing as we had made an online reservation well in advance!
