Capilungo in London is a special place inspired by the cafes of southern Italy, especially our hometown of Lecce. We are a family business that started in 1991 and recently opened our first international location in Covent Garden last year.

During the day, we are a cozy cafe/ brunch and at night, we transform into a lively wine and cocktail bar. Our focus is on serving authentic food and drinks made with great ingredients, care for where they come from, and flavors that reflect the season. One of our most famous items is the 'Pasticciotto' pastries filled with delicious creams.

Whether you're craving a pasticciotto or a drink, we welcome you to experience a slice of Lecce life in London at Capilungo.

Following the success of previous pop-ups at Crouch End Cellar, Bakery4, and the Meeting House, Capo Caccia returns, this time to Covent Garden. Our first visit to Capilungo won’t be our last. Good experience- friendly welcome and attention from Parth. We both had antipasti, a main course and a glass of Primitivo. The food was delicious. It was a cut above most Italian restaurants in the same price range. We were treated to an amuse bouche of Bari almonds with sea salt and truffle oil. The restaurant is quite small so booking recommended. Attentive service and great food- highly recommended

Music in basement way too loud. Didn’t enjoy the basement vibe. Three main meals came out at diff times. One was 15 minutes after others. First meal out was a pizza before our appetizers were served. So odd. Desserts were good. Won’t be back.

Lovely people. Nothing too much trouble. Food is fresh, simple, honest and largely Southeast Italian.(Apulia-the best). Quick service and ideal for pre/post theatre snack.

Food was good!! However, we ordered everything together but drinks came way before food. Gentleman kindly replaced the hot drink that had gone cold.

Such an amazing range of dishes...I really struggled to choose! In the end opted for the french toast which was amazing. Will definitely try and visit again to sample some savoury dishes!
