   Bread was served without butter. Cesar salad was super bland. Waiter brought me the wrong entre for dinner. Dessert was ehhhh. Waiter was very hit and miss. Gone for long periods of time and inconsistent. Disappointing because I had heard really good things about this place.

   Veal parm was delicious. Server Becca was attentive but not overbearing. Calamari app was small and crumby and the balsamic sauce was not discernible. Caesar salad was okay. Tiramisu was an untraditional take on the classic and I wouldn’t call it by that name but it was delicious nonetheless.

    Capeo is our favorite date night venue. The food is consistently amazing and the service is always outstanding! You can spend more money eating out in Little Rock area, but you will not find a better overall dining experience. I had the bone-in elk chop and my wife had the lobster and shrimp linguine and they were both divine! We always enjoy the walk down Main Street after our meal.

    Previous reviews were positive so we made a reservation with high expectations. Unfortunately we were disappointed. First the pros: The ambiance was very nice with well spaced tables with tablecloths in an attractive room. The service was friendly and attentive. The wine by the glass drink menu had a wide variety. Now for the cons: The mozzarella caprese had small circle pieces which were surprisingly firm. The accompanying tomato compote was flavorful. The main dishes: Chicken Marsala-while the Marsala sauce was flavorful the chicken was unusually thick and tough. I have never had chicken Marsala with the chicken this thick. Usually the chicken is pounded thin to absorb the flavor of the Marsala sauce. The eggplant parmigiana was a huge disappointment. The slices of eggplant were thick and chewy. The tomato sauce was very salty. Surprisingly this dish does not come with a side of pasta. The waitress offered a side salad at additional cost.

    We had an outstanding dinner. The food is excellent. The bar is close to the open kitchen, but this is not disturbing. The bartender who took our order and served us is friendly and knows the menue well. Cameo is the best restaurant in the Little Rock area.

    Capeo’s is the best Italian restaurant in the Little Rock area. The service is always attentive. The food is authentic and fresh. The wine list is very good particularly for Italian wines. My favorite entree is the elk chop. It’s not on the menu but is usually available as a special. And the pasta carbonara is outstanding.

    Everything was good, I wouldn’t say it’s a fine dining restaurant. The service was good. We put down on the reservation it was our anniversary. No one asked or acknowledged if we were celebrating anything special. We had never been to the restaurant before so had questions about menu items. The waiter didn’t seem familiar with the offerings. Still he was attentive and all the food was hot and delicious. We will definitely return again. Just without the thought we are going to a fine dining restaurant.

    I tried the Pacific Rockfish with a saffron/cream sauce...this was a special and I am so glad I tried it!! Amazing!!! The tiramisu was so good, as well!!!
