Our service was good. It is usually excellent but our server was pretty busy and didn’t offer drink refills on anything other than alcohol beverages until we were almost ready to leave. We ordered meatloaf, crab cake special (Sat night) and our child had grilled PB & J. The only one that looked and tasted fresh was the grilled PB & J. Our other dishes were luke warm and tasted like they had been plated / prepared hours before and either reheated or been under a warmer. Again, we realize it was a busy Saturday so it wasn’t horrible, they were just not fresh or hot. We could have made something like this at home. I wanted a night off of cooking but it was expensive for what seemed like reheated dinners. Giving 4 stars instead of 3 because this is the first time this has happened here and we typically have great experiences so I don’t want to bring ratings down with a bad review.

The food is always excellent at Cap City. Food never disappoints. Noise level is a little more than I would prefer. However there are much worse noise levels at other comparable restaurants.

We were able to choose outside or inside. We ended up sitting outside on the patio and it was a little bit warm, but there were some shades to block the sun, which was nice. The service was pretty good, our server was very kind and asked all the right questions. The food was great and we were very impressed with all of our dishes. The meatloaf was phenomenal. We had a birthday so we were able to get a free dessert which we all enjoyed!

2 of the three meals hit the mark. The 4 Egg Omelet was very bland and a little overcooked (rubbery texture) 3 people- 75.00 for brunch with only one alcoholic drink- the omelet should be better

Our sever Johnny was not very pleasant. We had drinks from bar and were catching up with our daughter as it was her birthday. As we didn't want to order immediately, Johnny seemed annoyed. When he came back we felt pressure to order. After our meal he bought our check with the dessert menu. Never been treated so rudely before at Cap City. Disappointed

From day one we have prided ourselves on our amazing food and hospitality. Just like our guests, I have very high standards for what we do, and when we fall short, I want to know about it.
