   It’s a great place for drinks and a fabulous dinner. Took family here for their visit to Ohio, and they loved the food. Desserts are over the top delicious. Thank you for a great experience in very area!

   Ate here yesterday, my first experience with Cap diner was great. This is my second time coming here. I was a little bit disappointed the second time. The main issue was mostly with the service. Our waitress barely checked on us, no refills, basically took our order, brought our food, and then waited for the check. Spent 75$ for two people and this time didn't seem worth it compared to my 1st experience.

   We got to sit outside and despite it being a very windy day; their outside space was well protected from the elements so we could enjoy the sunshine whilst not worrying about the wind. Drinks were really good and service was very friendly and prompt!

   Exactly as expected when dining at a Cameron Mitchell restaurant! Brunch menu is diverse & delicious. Server was very busy but very attentive to us. Entire menu available in addition to brunch menu. Highly recommend!

    Perfect brunch spot on our way to the zoo! Parking was plentiful and glad we made a reservation! Also, the cinnamon buns for an appetizer to our brunch were amazing! Our server Wes was great!

    In true Cameron Mitchell fashion, our server (and the kitchen) allowed us to customize a kids menu item for our 4yo grandson. His reaction, “This chicken is lovely!” In Grandparent Land, that is a Five Star rating. Thank you for making our night out in his words, “The best night ever!”

    Your patio is freezing cold. It should either have been built better or you should have provided a more effective heating with space heaters close to the floor and the gaps. Alternatively, you could have warned customers at the point of reservation that the patio is NOT heated effectively and it would NOT be a pleasant experience. the food was ok. The service mediocre.

    Our family of 5 enjoyed our first experience here. 3 people immediately took pictures of their food. That does not happen often, but the presentation was absolutely beautiful. Restaurant was clean with cozy fun ambiance, friendly staff, excellent food and drinks. The only slight disappointment was I wish the meatloaf had more mushrooms.

    Food was delicious as always! Huge portions, too. Pasta that comes with the Romano crusted chicken needs more sauce, but asked server for extra & got it no problem. Appreciated all the gluten-free options since one in our party has celiac disease. Server was mostly knowledgeable about gluten, but offered our GF friend malt vinegar with her GF fish & chips, forgetting malt also has gluten. (Our friend reminded her. ) Excellent experience overall.

    I go to Cap City almost monthly because they consistently serve gluten free food that is delicious and safe for those with celiacs. I almost always get fish n chips, in part because they’re delicious, but also gf fish n chips is a treat because very few other places have it. This time, The gf fish n chips portion was a third of what it usually is. The fish filets were approx 4 fish stick size filets. I’m hoping this was a fluke and the portion sizes are going back to what they once were. I know lots of restaurants are beginning to downsize to make up for increasing food prices, but this a big shift.

    Cap City is a solid choice offering consistently good food and great value for money. Portions across the diverse menu are hearty and extra value can be had via the featured daily “blue-plate specials” (i.e. Shrimp Scampi (M), Chicken Pot Pie (T), Liver and Onions (W), Flat Iron Pot Roast (R), Walleye dinner (F), Crab Cakes (Sa), and Beef Stroganoff (Su)).

    The food was great and server was friendly. There was confusion when we checked in as she checked us in as the wrong party. It got corrected but no one noticed my gluten allergy or birthday celebration so I did ask for a gluten free menu. No special things I guess for my birthday (or they forgot)?

    I was disappointed frankly. My food wasn’t very warm and there wasn’t enough Hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict. The server dropped off the bill but never asked about dessert and it was my birthday! I was celebrating at afternoon brunch with my husband, son and daughter-in-law — and I even indicated on the Open Table app that it was my birthday. It was not the experience I expect at a Cameron Mitchell experience or that I’ve ever had.
