    We sat outside and had a wonderful experience. Our server seemed new and she was just delightful, caring, and very attentive. I say she seemed new because my husband ordered a screw driver and she had never heard of it - so we just said - orange juice and vodka....and laughed!! The food was exceptional! We had dessert first because we had to try the blueberry pancake balls (don't remember what they were called)....and then mu husband got eggs benedict and I got quiche. The portions were do large we ended up eating his and taking my quiche home. I will say the eggs benedict had ham that was the best either of us had ever had! We will definitely go back but Sunday brunch is awesome!!

    As usual the food was wonderful and service excellent. Had a small glitch with size of beverage order but the server resolved it quickly. Becoming one of our favorite dining options.

    Stood in entrance after checking in with our reservation while three groups who came in after us (one without a reservation) were seated before us. Ten minutes before server came to take our drink orders. Placed our order, waited... heard a crash, waited... server arrives and informs us that our food was dropped and they are remaking. Food finally arrives after more than 45 minutes from the time we were seated. Server did not come back to the table until she was ready for payment, I paid and was asked if I wanted a receipt to which I said yes, after 20 minutes of waiting for the receipt we finally left without it as she could no longer be found. I have dined here many times in the past, service and quality have declined severely in the last year. May not be back again.

    Our table of four were very happy with our experience at Cap City Diner and I was really glad we had reservations because the Farmers Market was going on at he time.

    The chicken in the chicken salad was too heavily breaded. Kind of dry. There weren’t any strawberries in the dessert special. Lots of cream and breading.

    Cap City Diner is a favorite or mine/ours. This Mitchell Restaurant is a standard in Columbus. My only complaint from my Birthday dinner is that my Chipotle Mashed Potatoes from my Pork chops were lukewarm warm. Not served hot. The tastes of all are spot on. The carrot cake will be enjoyed over a few days and is moist and wonderful!!! Yum!!’
