   Sat us basically in the kitchen so staff constantly standing and walking by our table. Ordered rotisserie chicken. It was dry and the mashed potatoes side was more decoration than a side as it was one fork full. Green beans side was 8 small pieces of beans. Again more decorative than side.

   Ordered prime rib with a cherry compote topping. It was a 12 oz piece of prime rib done to perfection. It came with a large baked potato and some green beans and broccolini. My dinner companion had halibut in a red Thai curry sauce with rice on the side. She said it was very good as well. We also ordered the wedge salad which was a very generous wedge of iceberg lettuce and bacon, blue cheese and red onions with a blue cheese dressing. It was very good as well.

   We booked a reservation the night before and did get seated even a little early. We ordered Appetizers and a meal. The appetizers came quickly and were very good except the clam chowder soup could’ve been a little warmer. We then waited about another hour for our meals to be served. My husband had to send his hamburger back because it was cold. Everything was eventually made right in the end and the food was good.

   Sadly this restaurant is suffering greatly from lack of preparedness in opening a new restaurant! I realize all new restaurants have growing pains and we were here on night #2 of operations, but it took 2.5 hours to get our entrees and when they arrived none of the meats were cooked to the temperatures as ordered and all the sides were lukewarm at best. Our server came over 3 times to apologize for the delays, and in no way was any of this her fault. Definitely give them time to settle in before trying this restaurant!

   While the food was very good, we waited over an hour and a half for it to arrive with no explanation. We sat by the open kitchen and witnessed a meltdown with poor language for all to hear. This should never happen on an open environment. Communication was very poor and clearly they need more or better help behind the line.

   While we found the resort itself a bit "tired: (well at least the room we stayed in). the restaurant was very good. Good food, good service--and don't miss the baked Alaska!

   One of THE best filet’s we’ve had. Odd to pay $2/slice for bread. It’s usually included, but….considering the times. A definite must dine location if you’re in Denali.

   Steak was good, service was excellent. We had vouchers from our trip so we appreciated the value. Would have been pricey otherwise.

    Terrence was a great server. The food was very good . Halibut morsels were delicious . Fish was fresh and moist . Steaks were cooked perfectly . The baked Alaska was YUMMY.
