Canyon Breeze Restaurant
Salad was straight out of package. No big deal. Steak was good. Sides okay. Service excellent.
Great food, and the young servers were very well-trained, friendly and efficient. What a wonderful place for a relaxing, outstanding evening!
There was not a huge selection on the menu. They change the menu frequently which is nice but it wasn't what I expected.
Plus, the portions were a bit small including the appetizers.
We had a wonderful dinner! The food was delicious, the service attentive, & the views were gorgeous!
Christine was excellent!! She was very friendly and attentive. Although the menu is limited, the food is expertly prepared for nutrition and value. Highly Recommend!!
The waitress was friendly, busboy not as much. He never came around with pitcher to refill water. There are no options other than what is on the menu and how it is prepared. The one and only soup was not even edible, they had two salads to pick from. I asked if I could have mine without Chickpeas, nope can't do that they are all pre prepared. I found that shocking for such and expensive restaurant. The main entree was tasteless as in no flavor. My baked potato was dry and when I asked for extra butter, I received less than a teaspoonful. The best part of the dinner was the bread. I would not recommend for locals, perhaps those that are there for spa treatment with weight loss, because we left still hungry.
Exceeded my expectations in every way. High quality, nutritious spa cuisine priced to provide high value with soup, salad, and bread included along with the well-balanced meal. The live entertainment was over the top as he was truly a talent and made the evening much more special. Service was spot-on professional yet friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy good food, that's good for you in a lovely setting with all the accompaniments. Well done!
Canyon Breeze restaurant was exquisite. The expectations for dress is casual, while the cuisine is top notch. The restaurant is very clean and organized. The service staff is attentive and you can tell that they enjoy their jobs. A good chef knows how things should taste, and chef Chad is a complete master/magician/rock star with his command of his craft. If you are anywhere within a 200 mile radius of this restaurant, and you don't go...consider yourself a fool.
Not excited about our meal. Black Cod didn’t have much flavor. Salad bar disappointing. Server and bussers were good. Price was way too high for mediocre food.
We were seated right away. Great attention from bus people and waiters. Their cocktail menu was a little confusing, “it’s alcohol, but not really” he explained. We passed and went with a bottle of wine. Not a huge selection, but found a nice bottle. Very good soup/salad bar. I had not been to one in years and pleasantly surprised. If there was a downside it was the side dish with our meals. Described as a type of squash/potato, it had no flavour. Nice tasty deserts. Ambiance wise: They need to have their windows cleaned. I would return for sure
The food was awful. So disappointed. We went there a year ago and the food was great. They must’ve hired a new “cook”.
Buen Menu, la terraza es comoda y el servicio es muy bueno
Food was very good, service was very good. The restaurant is located in a beautiful area. Snow Canyon is awesome. Thought we would have a spectacular view as we dined but it was not to be. It was very windy the day we visited so we ended up sitting inside. After dinner we strolled around the outside dining area, again no view of the amazing red cliffs the location is known for. We walked around the resort which does have jaw dropping views. The ambiance of the restaurant was of a up scale dining hall. They did have live music in the background. Noise was low. Was very surprised that such a beautiful resort would no take advantage of the surroundings to accentuate the dining experience. Would I return for another meal....probably not...there are restaurants in the area that showcase the stunning vistas. At that price point one can do better. The Painted Pony, Cappeletti’s both have very very good food !!!!! No views but the food was amazing.
The service was A+++++, the ambience A+++++, salad bar A+++++, but the main dinner was very skimpy. The steaks were way too tiny....it was like a piece off of the main steak. Black Cod was okay, not my favorite.
Canyon Breeze Restaurant was a surprisingly good restaurant. We have searched the greater Saint George area for good restaurants. We would rank this one in our top 5. We had halibut. It was good. They served it with sautéed spinach and roasted cauliflower. They had an ample salad bar with good selections. They had a wonderful hot bread. The best desert item was banana bread pudding. Very good and I'm not a bread pudding fan.
This restaurant is part of a resort. It's away from the crowds and traffic in Ivins. We will go back and take a friend.
It was a very delightful experience, very fast attentive service with pleasant servers. I would recommend this place for nice dinner dining.
Absolutely out of control loud dining experience. The food was terrible and was given compensation for it. Not a very spa oriented environment or experience. Service was slow.
Decent food for St George. There just aren’t a lot of great options in tow.
Service was great, food bad! Dry chicken with no flavor. Will not be back.
I loved the live music and the food was phenomenal. This was one of the best restaurants I ate from in a really long time.
The food here isn't bad, and the service wasn't really bad either. It just felt like we were in a diner instead of a restaurant that was about to charge us around $90 for a meal for two people. The place lacks charm and the wait staff is ...kind of bored with the whole thing, or maybe understaffed and tired out or something like that. And the food isn't great, just ok. So next time we may try a diner.
Not what we expected. Husbands steak was maybe 1 inch thick and was so so.. Very small serving sizes. My chicken was quite dry. Baked potato was just warm, butter barely melted. The salad bar was ok, not many choices. Did not have the soup. Server was so so. The assistant to the server was much nicer and friendlier than the server. The atmosphere was none existent. Large open room, like a large dance room or something. We had a glass of wine, and a beer. Were never asked if we wanted another. Glad we did not stay here, will not be returning.
I’m so sorry to say that I really did not have a good experience here. First of all the service is absolutely outstanding. Our waitress Caitlyn was incredibly friendly and competent the bartender was very gracious as well. However, I did not enjoy the food. At all. The ambiance is off I felt like we were at a nursing home the way the tables were set up, the double exit emergency doors which clearly show this room was not built for a restaurant. We were seated at very low four top table literally hands reach to the bar. I ordered the sea bass with fingerling potatoes that was literally less than 3 oz of Sea Bass with four small thin slices of potatoes and half a can of sliced olives. The vegetable was not even cut properly the base of the stem connecting three broccoli was left on. No flavor everything was incredibly bland. My friend had the polenta lasagna that was a plate of mush. No texture and zero seasoning and flavor. I read amazing reviews and was so incredibly disappointed in this meal that was $50 pp. I am incredibly fortunate to live in Las Vegas and to have traveled the world that I may be spoiled but I truly felt as though I was eating a microwave meal.
Overrated, disorganized. In need of good management. Great potential.
An interesting restaurant. Limited food choices and modest (health conscientious) quantities.
On the premised that appear to be geared for Spa activity and health female get a ways , it was a good modestly priced choice. Not really meant for foodies or high end fine dining.
If you are looking for healthy dining it is a good spot. Restaurant is clearly geared to the resort's spa guests. Menu has just a handful of entree choices. Had the quail and it was nice. Beautiful views from the outside seating areas, surrounded by red rocks. Only a couple miles from Tuacahn if going to see a show. Very limited bar menu. Nice wait staff.
Went there for the first and enjoyed the meal as well as the people serving. Their menu's changes daily and they are open 364 days a year!
The food was overpriced & not tasty. I would not recommend this place to my friends. Great atmosphere & live entertainment was fantastic though.
What a wonderful experience we had at the restaurant, such fresh and healthy food choices!
Just happened upon it based on open table search- very healthy and tasty offerings. Excellent salad bar included (I’m not a salad bar fan but this was very good). Staff is really friendly.
Amazing options for vegetarians and vegans! Thank for for thinking of the non meat eaters out there. Food was phenomenal, service was spot on, and view was breathtaking. I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you for a wonderful birthday evening.
Upscale dining at reasonable price. Good salad bar.
Birthday / staff extremely pleasant, food delicious and healthy
Great service, healthy options,
The ambiance was great! We sat on outdoor patio. The food was ok. It needed more flavor. I love fresh flavorful food with herbs and delicious fruit and veggies. I would say the food did not measure up to my expectation.
Different menus served each day. Our two dinners of duck breast and pork were delicious and under 300 calories, though you would never guess! The soup and salad bars were very nice and would have made a nice meal alone. We felt the service was a bit rushed, so next time we will tell the staff we want a leisurely meal. We will take advantage of the $15 corkage fee and bring our own bottle of wine on our next visit.
The menu for the day included a variety of main courses from which to choose. I opted for a medium-rare New York Strip Sirloin that was cooked to perfection and almost like a filet mignon in presentation, tenderness, and flavor, accompanied by a short stack of sliced potatoes with blue cheese sandwiched between each slice and flavorful fresh green beans cooked al dente. I had served myself from the salad bar, but also had a bowl of the soup du jour, an interesting combination of roasted garlic, cauliflower, and fennel root. We had a friendly and knowledgeable waiter and assistant who offered suggestions about the food and wine and remained attentive throughout the meal. I took their advice in choosing a delicious warm chocolate, cherry velvet cake. All in all, the food and service was great and worth the drive. I will definitely be back!
Wow! What an amazing experience! From the food to the staff to the ambiance, it is the perfect restaurant for a beautiful night out. Great wine list. Fabulous desserts. We loved it!
Not was I was expecting for a New Year's Eve Dinner - definitely not worth the money.
Subpar food, offensive potion of black cod (sablefish), maybe 2/3 oz. The buffet is a bunch of stuff just thrown on the table, the soup was like glue. When we asked the server a question about a wine bottle that we wanted to order he said: oh, I don’t drink, I know nothing about wine.
