    Join us for a portfolio tasting featuring the exquisite wines of Arnaldo Rivera at Cantina Gia wine shop Tuesday June 17th . Doors are open for you to come and go as you please from 5 - 8:30pm. Come taste your way through the lineup from Piedmont, Arnaldo Rivera wines along with some bites and good conversation. Stay for a glass or a few, pass by for a sip. Taste all the wines with bites $85 (4-5 wines incl. 2 Barolos) Glass of wine with bites $25

    The food is interesting and flavourful and nutrient dense. The chicken on my cucumber chickpea salad was cooked to perfection. Cocktails perfect as usual. The staff is lovely and knowledgeable. Always an excellent experience. ❤️

    This is a wildly popular bustling spot. The food is absolutely excellent with a great selection of wines too. Service exceptional as servers all seem really happy to be there!

    Very nice place for lunch. Good spritzers and food, but expensive. I had a spritzer and a salad and it came to $55 with tax and tip. The ambiance and decor is pretty basic but fine for a lunch. Tables are close together so you can easily hear the conversation of those on both sides. I would go again for lunch once in a while only because of the price and the location is difficult to find parking. I wouldn't go for dinner because of the table proximity, price and lack of parking.

    Service was rushed , rude and very abrupt. Our order was forgotten and therefore delayed. When we were. Notified of the delay we were offered a free drink ? Food was mediocre.

    Great ambiance. Intimate with great decor. The pecorino martini had a bit too much pickle juice. The pasta was good but lacked depth and complexity. Service was great, very attentive but not intrusive. Overall a good experience and I would go back.

    My favourite Italian spot in Ottawa! I definitely recommend making a reservation but they typically have a few cute smaller spots or bar seats for walk ins if you time it right. A place you can bring your family, a date or go out with a group of friends. Be sure to check out the Cantina on your way out. They also have a larger table in a private room you can book out for a more intimate event. I'm a big fan of their espresso martinis or negronis on tap, and their wine list is curated to perfection. I really appreciate the option to order a half litre of wine instead of a whole bottle. The #1 pasta is the Cacio e Pepe but you can't go wrong with any on their menu - keep in mind the portions of almost every item are quite large, great for sharing! Thanks to the staff as always for great service and recommendations. I'm always glad to come back.
