   Can be romantic if seated at the right table. (tables in front nearest to water). Restaurant is quite large and feels a but impersonal when seated in he middle of the restaurant. Odd selection of music, also several servers at each table subtracts from that intimate feeling. Overall a very good restaurant.

   My husband and I had a memorable experience at Canoe house for our 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone, from the valets to the servers were so friendly and made us feel special. Our waiters were Dean and Marciano, who met our every dining whim, including pictures on the beach, and addressed us by name each time they attended our table. We ordered a la carte from a wide array of drink and food choices. A gin and tonic and The Canoe mai tai began our culinary journey. The pull-a-part bread with seaweed butter and corn ribs were savory appetizers. We then watched a beautiful sunset as the salad and fresh-grilled Ono were served. Our meal was delicious.

   We’ve been going to the Canoe House while on the island as often as possible. Never disappoints. It’s wonderful

   Great food and service. Was a little disappointed that Kama’aina for residents is only for hotel guests and Mauna Lani home owners only. A first for me when they state 15% for residents. I will come back since everything was great!

   Location and ambience is totally five star…..be there when the sun drops into the Pacific. The quality of the food, the presentation, the creativity and more was six star. Our server Ian made this evening one to remember….knowledgeable, patient, timely and very professional!!!!!

   This was our best meal so far in 2025, we did their tasting menu along with adding on the Milk Bread and Garlic Fried Rice. Every single item we tried was impeccably crafted for a flavor profile that was perfection. The plating was done artfully with great presentation. The service was out of this world and their drink and wine selection was incredible. 100/10 would come back to the Island just for another meal here.

   This is the in our opinion the best restaurant on the island. The service and food are phenomenal. Need to bring back the Crab legs - was very disappointed that was no longer an option.
