Friendly staff and great location. I had a reservation and they kept me on time. The bar a little busy, but the bartender was attentive. Food was great and I had a really good waiter. From beginning to end, I really enjoyed my experience.
Too expensive. This is mainly a bar. I would forget eating there. I couldn't finish my clam chowder because of all the sand in it. They did a poor job of cleaning the clams.
The beer selection here is out of this world. Unfortunately, the food we had wasn't very good. The calamari was so hard and chewy we only ate a few bites. The pretzel was good.
Ordered d kid's mac n cheese, chopped salad to share, mini sliders for my hubby and fish n chips for myself. For dessert, we had the chocolate cookie skillet. Overall, the food was tasty and delicious. Service was prompt and efficient.
We went for a football game waiter was very helpful we asked for a speaker box for the T.V. was nice get the Sliders Best I have ever had..Service was excellent had a nice time except Green Bay gave it up at the end....
I'm newly 21 so I'm not a beer connoisseur... Yet! I said what kind of beer I liked and instantly my waiter knew what I would like and gave me two options! (I think his name was Niko). Very nice and personable without being too in-your-face. It put a dent in my wallet, but definitely worth it for great food and service in a relaxed setting!
This was one of 6 Resturants that we picked for our 4 day trip to Monterey, CA.. They were some key food highlites that we were looking forward to, however a under trained waiter took some of the shine off our food experience.
Yes, I would likely go back when we visit Monterey again, but the others locations came through on the service issues for a wonderful experience.
Went here twice -good kids menu. Nice wine and beer. Not expensive.
We went there just after Thanksgiving with a group of 7. The restaurant was packed but the service was still great. Our drinks, appetizers, and entrees came quickly and exactly how we ordered them.
This is a large restaurant with a broad menu, but each dish our party of nine ordered was tasty and well prepared. Portion sizes are correct, food is not heavily salted, and there are plenty of choices. It is great if there are people in your group who have dietary restrictions (or are just plain old picky eaters). Despite the crazy crush of after Thanksgiving crowds, the service was attentive, calm, and confident. The chocolate dipped frozen banana desset was a perfect ending to our meal. There are loudspeakers playing music, so if you want a more conversational evening, ask to be seated away from the music.
Food was outstanding, service excellent, menu makes it difficult to choose.
Best Clam Chowder soup I've ever had,
I would reccomed this restsurant to anyone
I had the Blue Pig burger, it was delish! The bacon on it was so goo I ate it outside the burger. My friend got the veggie burrito and loved it. The beer selection is awesome
Made reservations and we were a few minutes late. I called ahead to let them know this and they were very accomadating. THe wait for our drink order was a little slow, but not unreasonably so. Food came out in a reasonable time. I had the shortrib grilled cheese. An excellent sandwich and I love the fries here. The grilled cheese was mostly good, but was a little sweeter than I cared for.
There was live music the night I went--not a bad thing, but noisy--enough to be a hindrance to dinner conversation. Food was good--ahi tower, applewood bacon and cheddar fries, Greek salad. Great for late night supper.
We've been to the CRBC a couple of times and after the most recent we've decided it will be our last. The beer and mixed drinks are good but the food was lacking flavor and texture in every dish we ordered. One of my children even refused to eat her mac and cheese, which has never happened before. We had a salad and the vegetarian pasta and it looked like it was going to be great but that's about it. No flavor, no seasoning, nothing at all. The service is also basically poor. We went on a Friday night at about 5:30 and there were maybe 10 other tables filled and our server acted like she was too busy to take drinks orders.
Food was good, service was good, very extensive beer list. I can't get past the name though: how can you call yourself "brewing company" if you don't brew your own beer?
Every Wednesday, CRBC has trivia night. Which is also fun to be with. On time i assumed a lot of people were so i got a table of 7, but changed to 4 when they said they weren't. Then after being seated they randomly showed up. CRBC did push two tables together, so we could all sit together.
Trivia night can be loud, when lots of people are their, but it is fun!!!. I enjoy going to CRBC on Wednesday!!
The foods is medium priced ($30 and under). Also their menue's do change!
Good was good, especially the short rib grilled cheese sandwich. A plus is that truffle fries are still available of you ask, just not on the menu. They are getting very close to really over pricing themselves and might already be there....they've shrunk the size of the burgers. Still enough to make you feel full, but noticeably smaller than previous trips. Good beer list.
Waitress was AWESOME - Food was great - Margaritas were the bomb!
We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews on Open Table and were not disappointed. We made our reservation, arrived 15 minutes early and were required to wait until our scheduled reservation time. We were then seated at a table that was vacant when we entered the restaurant. I don't get it? The prices are reasonable and the food was excellent. We had Sand Dabs, the Fisherman's Stew (great) and a grilled Artichoke.
