Although the pizza was excellent, there was not much prosciutto on the pie. The salads were also excellent.

Food was just OK. The pizza crust is very thin and soggy in the middle. The outer crust is great though. The service was very slow and slow to give refills. Parking is HORRIBLE. The price is steep for what you get. There are better places for pizza. Not bad, but nothing special.

The food was pretty good. However the service was a bit lacking. After being seated it was over 5 min before the server came to the table. A manager was there however his attention to detail was lacking also. Would go back in hopes they read these reviews.

The pizzas are fantastic, but the fresh made pasta is a hidden star of the menu. The variety of appetizers is also impressive particularly compared with some of the other Cane Rosso locations. The kids menu is an exceptional value as well - the pizzas are nearly as large as the standard fare. The service was also very good. We were seated immediately and the food was out very quickly. The only possible down side is limited parking, but we got lucky enough for one of the few spots facing the storefront on a Saturday night.

For a VPN certified pizza joint this was the worst. 3 of 4 pizzas undercooked and luke warm. I was hoping for the best being from the northeast (who have the best pizza in the usa) but not to be born. B-A-D.

Floppy, salty thin crust pizza meets zero effort concrete interiors for a noisy and ultimately unsatisfying night out.

Food is great; however, the service is seriously lacking. Having to ask multiple times for the same thing is not ideal or acceptable in my book.

The food and service are both very good. Parking can be a problem sometimes but other than that,
it's a great place to eat. And the drinks are good.

Pizza crust is great, but sauce is thin and overly sweet. Salad was completely drenched in dressing.
Extremely noisy even at early hour. Even waiters were shouting. May be more to liking of some, but dishes just seemed to be less subtle and atmosphere too noisy.

Enjoyed the Luana pizza and the Mista salad. Small but good selection of local beers with excellent service. Noise level was decent several TVs to catch the game if you’re into that. Overall I would return and recommend Cane Rossa. I typically prefer local places but this Dallas transplant spot is worth a try.

Good pizza dough, but poor mozzarella. Condiments are rich and good taste. Capricciosa would be a better choice than a Margherita.
The Caprese should not have pesto in it... but they may not know this.
Capra salad is very good... but is not Italian!
Generally the location is good. Service good as well.
Is the best pizza I could find in one year stay in Houston

Read about this restaurant on a variety of websites. My husband and I are pizza lovers and always looking for a great pizza. The mista salad was yummy and the pizza was fantastic. Wine glasses were a bit small. Our waiter was extremely friendly and informative. We will definetly go back. Wish it was closer to the Rice Village area.

I’m sure this place is a great bargain for happy hour, but their dinner menu prices are a bit steep. We shared the meatball appetizer and the cheddar tots appetizer. Liked the former much more. I ordered their Capra salad which was delicious with goat cheese, pecans and dried cherries with balsamic vinaigrette. The rest of the party split two pizzas. One was a sausage, peppers, tomato pie...can’t remember the name of it. The other was their funghi pie with basil and rosemary. The mushroom pie was the better of the two. Tab came to $74 without tip and no one ordered alcohol! Our waiter tipped us off to their happy hour where the deep discounts lie. Maybe we will be back then.

Good food, good service, in a casual environment with the ever present TVs showing sports. A little bit noisy when the place is full. Would not recommend for the hard of hearing in prime time. We liked their specialty which is the pizza.

I would not suggest the calamari. While it was a good tasting dish, for twelve dollars, the serving size was very small.

Restaurant was quiet, would say about 12-15 parties max.
We wanted to sit outside to enjoy the nice weather this evening. The waiter did not state his name in the beginning. We ordered drinks and calamari, then food when our cocktails arrived. The pizzas we ordered arrived before our calamari appetizer and mind you even before anyone at the table had silverware or napkins.

Overall the food wood ok. Would we be back? Prorbaly not. Finally found out our servers name when he brought our check to close out.

Second time I've eaten at the restaurant. Never again. Both times service has been awful, nonexistent. Long stretches of time with no service, no drinks, no food, no ordering or anything. Had to go up to waiter several time during meal to get anything to happen. Was just like this the time before as well. Get delivery or takeout. Food is good, service is awful.
