Close to downtown but far enough away from the crowds of the Riverwalk, Candlelight has been operating as a staple hang out in the St. Mary's strip since 1995, It has been owned by three awesome owners and each owner has evolved Candlelight into what it is today. Due to old age in our original building, we made the decision to relocate Candlelight directly behind our original home. We are now located at 107 Kings Court. We are an outdoor secret garden that offers a different warm welcoming environment. Our secret garden offers a variety of lounging. We have several wonderfully grown herbs, spices, vegetables, and succulent plants growing in our secret garden. The garden is open to the public Friday, Saturday and Sunday to our customers where there is great music and artwork displayed by San Antonio's known local artist Momo & Pompa. We have always had our own unique spirit that makes Candlelight truly a place ...Like No Other.

This was the first time being at this location and it definitely made me miss the low key, coffeehouse vibe from before. Overall the experience was okay. Ordering was a little confusing (everything is done from your phone) but not terrible. I think the biggest complaint was having screaming children running all over the patio. We eventually moved to another area just to find multiple people had the same complaint and also requested to move. I know this isn’t the restaurant’s fault but apparently this has happened on multiple occasions. The food and service were good but unfortunately we probably won’t go back and will chose a more adult friendly environment.

What a great find, we will definitely be back. The food was so good and fresh. The owner came out and spoke to us and gave us the history of the place and exhibited her pride in their work. Food was excellent!

It was an average breakfast on a rainy chilly Sunday morning. It wasn’t busy at all, there were two other tables of 2-3 people each and myself and husband. The bottle of bubbles and juice for $12 was nice! If the weather was nicer and more people were there we probably would’ve stayed and tried more drinks but the vibes were low. Overall a good breakfast with a plentiful menu!
