The Prime Rib was one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect!
The environment was super nice! The food was delicious and the drinks were so yummy.
Spent most of the meal batting flies from our food. Killed the relaxed vibe.
This was a great place to meet up with friends for brunch. We had a couple of young kids in the party, too, and it was just noisy enough that we fit right in. Food was good so we will keep this on our list of places to return to.
Didn’t enjoy the food
Bartenders excellent food delicious. Really loud but didn’t bother us until we needed to hear wait staff!
Unique place, good food and drinks. Enjoyed outdoor seating.
We had the “Campfire Feast” and trusted the chef to prepare a 6 course diverse tasting menu. Highly recommend!
Excellent friendly service! Very polite and attentive waiters / waitresses and the food is amazing!!! Thank you Campfire as we are now Broccoli-holics!!!! The beef filet just so sumptuous and beautiful!! THANK YOU!
Service was poor. No one checked water glasses. Stuck in a corner in a table did not care for. Usually a good experience but they were off compared to other times.
However good the food, the sheer chaos of the place ultimately overwhelms everything else: A large restaurant packed with too many people at closely-spaced tables, a punishing noise level, long waits between courses (an overstressed kitchen?), inexperienced front-of-house staff, dogs barking, children crying - it can be a little nightmarish.
Just love it here I always take my Hinge dates here lmao
Great creative dishes-love The broccoli 😀. However, very slow food times
Love this restaurant! The family style serving is great. Could eat a bowl of their ceviche.
The food was delicious. Service was great and attentive. Cute concept and we loved sitting outside
My husband and I went there for the first time after looking at their website and all the pictures of food, which looked delicious. We were a bit disappointed that we weren’t allowed to sit at a four top but rather forced to sit at a two top table which is practically on top of the two tables in either side. No private conversation was had but rather superficial conversation because who wants strangers to listen in on your conversation?
The food was really good but overpriced! We spent over $80 on 2 cocktails and 2 appetizers. Really? It’s not like their top shelf vodka was Grey Goose or Kettle One, it was Absolute. Won’t go back.
Gorgeous food, beautiful setting. A special Saturday early dinner....the s’mores are insane.
The food and service was exceptional...nice people...great Broccoli and the jandori chicken is definitely worth waiting for...not to mention the exceptional s’mores
Good lunch, fresh food, small selection but tasty. Very disappointed that their magic broccoli was not on lunch menu nor could we order it. I drove from OC and it is why we chose to eat their.
The service was poor. The table to my left and right received much more attention. Had to wait 25 minutes for my water glass to be refilled. Waited just as long for my check. I would have ordered more and spent more money if I was asked if I wanted something earlier. And I was never asked if I wanted another alcoholic drink after my only one.
This was our 5th visit and the best yet! Brought my son and his girlfriend who live in NYC and they said nothing in the Big Apple could top this meal. Such a creative menu .
Kudos to Connor for his excellent service and recommendations and the rest of the staff knew everything about each dish that they served us.
Most outstanding dishes were the whole Branzino and the Squid Ink Hummus. And Natalia is always so gracious. The Village lucky to have this wonderful place.
My husband really enjoyed his birthday dinner! We'll be back.
Amazing dining experience. Will definitely be back.
Great food, attentive and charming staff, too loud.
Unreal. All of it, so so good. Must go. The end.
Terrific, creative and tasty.
The only thing I really liked at Campfire was the decor and furnishings. It's fun to look at and reasonably comfortable, though noisy.
We arrived with a reservation for an indoor table. The hosting staff seemed unprepared to seat us and tried to give us an outdoor table in full sun. We were back and forth to wait at the bar twice before they finally put the four of us at a table for 10.
There are some very peculiar combinations on the menu. The server misled me about the spiciness of what I ordered, so I could hardly eat it. And once we'd been served, it was very difficult to get anyone's attention to ask for water or anything else.
It’s super cute! Food was delicious and our service was fantastic! I highly recommend it.
Not sure that this place live up to the hype. The food was good, but we did not have anything I would classify as amazing. Service was good, but the restaurant was very loud. I would not discourage anyone from going, but it is not top on my list of places I would recommend.
Great service & food - menu not ordinary, tasty, fresh, and not run of mill items - very good
Draw back - Parking!! Need valet or bring your hiking shoes...!
Great experience, dog friendly and amazing cocktails
The chilaquilles were so good. Everything was delicious.
Great food, very clean atmosphere, great service! Everything was wonderful, the broccoli is the best of Heaven, we crave it weekly!
Excellent, unpretentious food that still pushes culinary boundaries. Great service, atmosphere, and surprisingly diverse clientele. Amazing value for money. I will be back again and again.
Fun, trendy atmosphere with interesting food pairings.
Great wait staff service.
Pricing of food menu items a bit overpriced.
Excellent service from when we walk in the door. Nothing bu the best food and wine. The best fish dish I ever ate. We arrived at 5:30 PM and beat the crowds. Highly recommended.
The servers were friendly but the service was very slow. Otherwise, everything was great. We will probably be back. The broccoli appetizer was a wonderful surprise and the s’mores were so much fun.
We made reservations for 6:30 and our table was ready immediately. Our server, Cameron, was informative, helpful, and genuine. We had the broccoli dish and ceviche as apps. Then the Wagyu beef and the Seabass as main course. All excellent and nicely plated. Only one thing I would suggest is expanding the wine selection a tad bit.
Normally one of our very favorite spots... tonight was disappointing and made us regret our 40 min. drive from San Diego.
Seated at the hottest and brightest place other than the surface of the sun... we got the corner table on the side of the kitchen. Avoid this at all cost. Run away. Heat comes thru the glass and the wall. It was crazy. We thought about asking to move but thought we’d make it through... unfortunately something was off in the kitchen.
Our food took an agonizingly long time to appear. Our appetizer came well after our drinks were consumed ( everything was tasty) and then we waited FOREVER to get our main dishes... which all came out at different times.
Had we been comfortable it might not have mattered but we were HOT and squinting through it all.
The food was good, our server tried his best, but holy smokes guys - that table is beyond terrible. Topped off by the slowest meal I’ve had in ages, and the squealing birthday party nearby - it was not a good night.
We’ll try it again and hope for a better experience. 🤞
This was our first visit to Campfire and by far the best meal we had while in Carlsbad. The waitress was knowledgable and explained how the menu worked. The ceviche, broccoli (a MUST HAVE) and sea bass were outstanding. The service was excellent! A definite must for your visit!
