Very nice atmosphere and perfect for a holiday celebration or any other celebration that an elegant place would fit well. Enjoyable and wonderful food, too!

A bit pricey but nice. Steaks are huge. Not a fan of the Mac n cheese. Noodles seemed overdone and too big for the dish. Waitress was good but we would have like to have had more drinks with our meal. Everything else was great.

Food wasn’t worth the cost. I have been to a lot of premium restaurants, and this one charged like they were but were not to that level

Food was good with some unique choices. The servers were polite but service was slow. They forgot our appetizer but since the meal was already served we just skipped it. There was not a large wine choice for wine by the glass. The bottled wine list looked good.
The petite Caesar salad was plentiful and very good. The steaks are served alone so you must order sides ( which are very large for one person). The other entrees had accompanied items with them.

Our first time eating here was great, this time we were disappointed. The menu changed slightly since our last visit. The braised short rib was overwhelmingly salty and looked almost black in the dim lighting (definitely over marinated but tender and fell off the bone), the risotto was dry (pre-made maybe, not made to order) and pretty tasteless, the blueberry sauce on the arctic char was just a strange combination (the fish was really good though), the sauce for the airline chicken was a little tangy, but our server let us know that when we ordered (chicken was good). The best plate of the night was the lamb chops, cooked perfectly.
We mentioned the salty short rib to our server and she sent someone over to our table, but he didn’t identify himself. We were compensated a dessert. We will be back to Mt Pleasant in a couple of weeks, but probably won’t be dining here for a while.

We like food that tastes good! While in town for the CMU football game we decided to give Camille's on the River a try since we've been underwhelmed with some of the other local establishments and chains in the area. We were not disappointed with anything. We were able to reserve a table on line, when we arrived we were seated immediately and greeted by our server. All the food was delicious, full of flavor, (Salmon, Airline Chicken, Filet Mignon Pasta, Risotto, Garlic Potatoes, Flatbread) and portion sizes were more than generous. The kitchen was was happy to accommodate a shellfish allergy and substitutions. We were very happy to have found this gem in Mt. Pleasant and will most definitely be making a return visit.

Nice place. Good food. Ambiance was set for fine dining so we expected a quiet dinner. However, some customers were loud and their waiter was just as loud speaking with them asking several times if they were ready for another bad boy meaning another beer. Same customers interrupted a couple at the next table by striking up a conversation. For couples trying to have a quiet dinner like us that was rude. Overall nice place, good food but overall experience was disappointing.

Service was excellent and food was excellent. We were there for our anniversary dinner, and the atmosphere was good. Only complaint is that the overall space was small, and there was a rowdy group there at the time. Would have been nice if this group would have been seated in the separate party room.

I was excited to eat at Camilla's because I have eaten at Mountain Town but this was my first experience for the sister restaurant. The lunch menu fit my budget. The soup of the day was very good but I had to ask for a spoon (I used mine for my coffee) and was not offered any crackers or bread which I believed was needed because the soup was spicy. The grilled chicken was slightly burnt and very dry. I sent one piece back and the replacement did not arrive until I was ready to leave. I asked about salt and pepper shakers but was afraid to ask for them in fear a doctor would jump out of the kitchen to check my blood pressure.
I was a bit disappointed with my lunch. The venue however, is just lovely! I can see myself sitting at the bar with a specialty drink in the future. It certainly is the place in Mt. Pleasant for a power lunch!
Thank you for asking.

In a word, underwhelmed. A well developed environment with lots of attention to detail in the space, but the same was lacking from the food and service. Both were supplied by beginners better suited to the bar next door.

We have eaten here several times and it never disappoints. The food and the service are outstanding! Erin was an awesome server! Highly recommend this place! It is not a cheap meal but for the quality of food and drinks it is well worth it. I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection! The butternut squash bisque is worth a visit on it’s own! We will definitely be going back.

I loved everything about Camille's from making reservations for a party of 18, to the food and great service. My son graduated from Alma college and I will definitely recommend Camille's to future graduates. We were seated in the back room which was great for our private party.

This was the second time I have been to this restaurant and the second time I have had an excellent dining experience. Service was very prompt and the food is absolutely delicious. I got the pork tenderloin and my boyfriend the ribeye steak, both of which were fantastic. This is fine dining and the prices and food reflect that. It's not a family restaurant by any means. The setting is spectacular-- romantic and full of character. We would go back again in a minute and it's the reason we return to Mount Pleasant.

What a great place! Our only objection was to the Golden Oldies music. It didn't fit the character of the restaurant. We both had the avocado stuffed with lobster meat which is so unique and wonderful. My husband had a great fillet. We had a wonderful chocolate dessert. Our server, Emily, was very attentive suggesting wines and checking in on us.

I was out of town for V-Day (nevermind that it fell on Ash Wednesday this year)...so we made plans to visit on Saturday. Probably the busiest I've ever seen Mountain Town and Camilles. I literally used the last available parking spot. We made reservations, and there was a slight wait. But no matter, we were seated quickly. There were a few items on the menu that were new since the last time we were there. Everything we had was delicious...just wish the server had separated our cobbler to go from the ice cream. It was melted by the time we got home.

I am a regular at Camilles and I was really disappointed on this date. I am not sure if they had a new chef or they were dealing with "after the holidays" staff but the food wasn't it usual level of quality. All three of the ribeye's that were ordered, were fatty and not cooked to the level requested. One was even sent back and still came back raw. Again, not sure what was going on but all of us had been to this restaurant multiple times and all were quite dissappointed.
