Unbelievably OUTSTANDING experience at Camel’s Crossing!!!!! Everything was over-the-top fabulous! And our server, Lucy, only added to our incredible first impression of this PURE GEM!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!
Always an incredible dining experience!
Camels Crossing is always fabulous. The food is prepared to perfection and always beautifully plated. Portions are just right.
The food is magnificent and the service impeccable! I’m so happy this gem is in my neighborhood!
This place rocks
Camel's Crossing is a one of a kind Boise eatery that gives me hope for the future of Idaho cuisine. Highly recommend!
Camel's Crossing has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants, particularly for a special occasion or a romantic evening out. The ambiance is one of the key features to this restaurant and to the overall experience. They have taken a small footprint and made it have a big presence, from the lighting and decor to the tall u-shaped booths that make you feel private yet accessible at the same time, to the smooth, old-school music that seems to be playing in the background each time. The service is impeccable, attentive yet unobtrusive. The servers and the owner routinely stop by to ensure you have everything you need and that everything is to your liking. Each is well-versed in the menu and are able to make recommendations based on your stated preferences. Then there is the food. Each time we have been, we have opted for the prix fixe menu (you have multiple choices within each course). This is truly the best way to fully experience what this restaurant has to offer. The flavors are a unique take on the dishes, with just the right amount of spice. The portions are generous yet never leave you feeling you have eaten to excess. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. My only negative is that we don't live within walking distance so that we would be able to dine here even more frequently.
We absolutely love Camel’s Crossing! If you want AMAZING food that you can’t find anywhere else in Boise- this is the spot. We did the four course special for $49 per person and it was truly an incredible dining experience. The octopus tacos were unreal...we are still talking about it. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a date night...the food isn’t rushed to your table so that gives you time to talk. I appreciate that this restaurant isn’t in a hurry to turn over tables. YOU HAVE TO GO if your are looking for a different food experience.
Things I look for at restaurant:
1. Waiters with knowledge about food and are great with recommendations.
2. Delicious and creative food.
3. Clean bathrooms.
4. Ambiance and style.
Camel’s Crossing nailed all 4!
The food is outstanding! The portions are NOT huge, which is a relief! You can enjoy all of it and don’t feel guilty. One of the best restaurants we’ve tried.
Wonderful as always. The four course option is a must. One of our favorite places in town.
Everything was outstanding! Our family all agrees and continues to savor our experience. Thank you!! We’ll be back soon .
Lots of great flavors & a cool atmosphere. This was our first time - we'll definitely be back.
I am always delighted by my meals at Camel's Crossing. The food and the service are equally fantastic.
We ordered the multi course option. Food was superb from salad to dessert. Everything was interesting, flavorful and delicious. We had zero complaints in our party of 4. Hands down the best food I’ve eaten in Boise.
We loved this place. Staff was helpful and professional. Food was amazing!!
Overall the nicest dining experience we've both had in the Boise area.
Very beautiful and delicious courses. Would highly recommend.
Wonderful first visit to Camel’s Crossing, outstanding vegan and vegetarian options for a special treat. Looking forward to next time.
Camel’s Crossing is by far the absolutely best restaurant in all of Boise. You should try it for yourselves!
Absolute perfection! The food is amazing, the service and attention to detail is second to none. A fabulous experience from start to finish
So happy Camel's Crossing is open. The good was excellent as always.
Delicious and innovative food, impeccable service, in a great atmosphere!
We love this place! Such an amazing experience in Boise. We need more restaurants like this.
Always beyond expectations. Just a wonderful place to dine. Very creative cuisine and service is efficient and fun. Love the ambience. A true Blessing For Boise
Fantastic food and service
Gorgeous and fun surroundings, unique and delicious. The prix fix approach is brilliant and a wonderful value. Service was attentive and outstanding, timing was impeccable. A total gem!
We had an absolutely fantastic time, the food and service were tremendous!
Friendly staff! Great food! Environment was wonderful!
As always, our experience at Camel's Crossing was superb. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, the wine was excellent and ambiance comfortable. All 8 dishes that my husband and I tried were fun, inventive, complex and delicious. We continue to think that the chef at Camel's Crossing makes the most unique, chef-driven food in Boise and hope that he gets nominated for a James Beard Award. The $49 4-course meal is a great value and we look forward to dining at Camel's Crossing whenever we can make the excuse the splurge a little or go for Happy Hour. I am thankful that Boise has this little gem. The one improvement that I think could be made is to offer espresso, as a cappuccino is a perfect accompaniment to dessert, in my opinion.
We have been here numerous times and its our favorite spot. Although, this time I was disappointed. The $26 steak I ordered were three small strips. Not nearly enough to be considered an entree, more like a small plate. I have gotten a steak here before and it was an actual larger piece of steak. Three 2inx2.5in strips is a really sad meal per value.
Thank you for taking the time to give feedback! We just changed the cut we are using for the steak. I'll chat with the chef about how we're portioning it and preparing it - it should be the same size we've always done. ~Caitlin McCoy, Owner
We had a great time, the staff was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. It was a great place for date night.
Friendly atmosphere, wonderful food and great service.
Excellent. Service and food outstanding. Interesting and very good wine list. Personal and sophisticated at the same time. Highly recommend.
Absolutely tasty meal with really rich, complex flavors. My wife and I would both highly recommend. It’s a small, narrow, intimate space so it’s not quiet. But the food shines!
Scott the owner was attentive to details, very welcoming. Food options were superb with much of it sourced locally. The butternut squash was immensely satisfying. The four course option offers a fantastic pricing considering all of the outstanding selections.
Fantastic food and Lucy was wonderful!
Awesome food and adorable ambiance
I love the exciting menu choices ... everybody is so friendly and service was stellar. Job well done .... we will be back.
Question - what days are u open during Thanksgiving week? I’d really like to bring my Tahoe family to Camels Crossing during this time period.
While the menu is not deep, the cuisine is varied, well executed and beautifully plated. Service is attentive, friendly but not overbearing. This is one of Boise’s best restaurants for a fine dining experience, no question.
Amazing food atmosphere owner. ❤️
We are from out of town and to find a nice place like this. Was a bonus on our trip. Great wine menu also.
