Such a precious experience for our 3 year old daughter. Mrs. Claus & Santa were so kind and patient with the kids. They sang, spent time with each child individually, read the Night Before Christmas to them, let the kids ask a million questions, and then did individual photos with each child & family. Not a single thing was rushed. The service was lovely and we got the sweetest little keepsake ornament to remember the evening. 10/10 recommend taking your littles to this Christmas experience! ♥️🎄

Sadly, I expected more. You leave slightly hungry, which is unsatisfactory for the price you pay (almost $200 with tip). I would expect copious amounts of selections for High Tea at that price level. The tea was subpar and extremely bland! We ordered the ginger orange yuzu. My mom and I are tea drinkers, and even after waiting the recommended 5 minutes (we waited 7-8 minutes), we were astonished that the tea was almost clear as water and the taste faint. The waitress was very kind as when we mentioned it when she checked on us, she was happy to offer adding another tea bag, and fresh tea cups. Still though, even with the second bag, the tea was very faint, and at that point cold. Sigh... • Ambiance? Beautiful. No detail was overlooked. • Service? Great. The ladies working were knowledgeable and hard working. • Food? Subpar. 5+ pieces more per person for that price level. Ambiance can only carry you so far when you came to eat at High Tea. • Taste? Food-yummy, not sure I'd say delectable (again, for that price point). The macrons seemed store bought. Tea-Very bland. I treated my mom who was visiting CHS to High Tea at Camellia's. Both of us are very well traveled and experienced foodies & tea drinkers. We had an excellent time nonetheless chatting just the two of us and enjoyed the ambiance of Camellia's thoroughly. Not sure I'd be back unless invited by someone else. Recommend? Maybe.

“Tea with Santa” experience! Pricey, but the pink ambiance was quite worth it! Unlimited amounts of tea you can drink! Phenomenal that you can try out so many different types of tea. You also get a glass of pink tinted rose, which is rare for afternoon tea.

Our server Ryan was amazing and helped to make it even more special. The tea room itself is gorgeous - just need a little help with acoustics. Also, just one more small note...I think the tea sandwich part of the service could be a little bit larger bites. Overall, had a great time and enjoyed it very much!!

Wonderful experience. I've never been to a tea and I'll never come close to this experience again. The room was beautiful. Our hostess was attentive and very friendly. Pastries were out of this world. If I'm in Charleston again I will definitely go back.

They booked a bridal party of about 25 women the day we had our afternoon tea. It was exceedingly noisy as a result. They didn't tell us about this very large party beforehand.

The tea service was sub par based on the food presentation and selection. It was overpriced for the items presented. The scones were terrible and micro mini. The pastries were also small and tasteless. I was so disappointed. I imagined a place in the Hotel Bennett would be extraordinary but it was horrible. Save your money. I also told them of my food allergy on the phone and they still brought out the savories with onions which is what I am allergic to and they offered me an additional deviled egg. Sad but true.

You pay for the experience in this stunning room! Located in the Bennett Hotel, you can’t missing the gorgeous pink room. Had very high expectations going into this as it’s is quite hard to get a reservation and it is not cheap. It is perfect for a Bachelorette party, girls trip, or mother daughter experience. Teas and pastries were great however the first round of finger foods were not. Tasted old and very strange assortment to pair with tea. Fish, crab, etc was just a very weird taste when drinking a fruity tea. Wish they would have a better assortment according to the tea you pick. Overall was fun. Would not do again though.

Went for afternoon tea. Lots of tea options and we enjoyed being able to try a few. The tea snacks were quiet good. Various sweet treats were all fabulous. Champs was a perfect extra as well. Great for a girls afternoon.

Unfortunately we were seated near a table of little girls. They were adorable, but not what we had envisioned! The room is much smaller than it appears in pictures so even moving wouldn’t have helped much. The food was not very good. My biggest complaint though is the lemon curd and clotted cream were served in little disposable plastic containers.

Poor service. Not enough staff working. This was for an afternoon tea and for two people we were given a tea pot with only one tea bag. For the price we should have each had our own pot.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with my teen daughter to start off our Charleston visit. Our flight was delayed and instead of arriving the evening before, had to crash in Atlanta (sans luggage) and landed disheveled the next morning. Needless to say, we were frazzled and worried we’d miss our reservation made months in advance. Luckily we had enough time to check in to the hotel, freshen up and stroll to Camellia’s where we were warmly greeted by the tea room’s calming rose ambience and equally friendly staff. There is something quite relaxing about leisurely enjoying fine tea and exquisite bites. The tea selection and quality was one of the best I’ve tasted. Would definitely come back again! 🫖🍰🌴

We did the Christmas in July experience tea. Food was a bit limited and so/so for the $75 adult price tag. It would have been nice if they offered an alternative to champagne for the adult ticket. Santa was adorable, great service and atmosphere, love the pink motif.
