This was our first visit. The surroundings were lovely, the food delicious, the service was excellent and a very good evening all round.

Great place that we walked past about 3 times and didn’t even know it was there! Small dining rooms make for great ambience if not a little noisy. Good selection of food on the menu and all reasonably priced. Not sure however why the wine is so expensive? Wines on the menu were commonly sourced in Europe have been massively inflated and whilst I know it’s common for restaurants to make the most money off wine, the amounts being charged didn’t line up with the food charges. Nevertheless great starters, mains and deserts were eaten, the beef Tonnata was the special and was delicious. A friend had the lasagne for his main and he said it was the best lasagne he had ever tasted. I think the only other issue was the temperature, it was very hot and when we asked to make the room cooler ( we were on the top floor) we were told that the air conditioning takes a while to work, maybe put it on earlier in the night would help? There are also velux windows that could be used to bring some fresh air in however these could not be opened as they were defective and leak if opened. Fix the window then maybe? Apart from that an enjoyable evening was had by all our party

A step up from the solid but average Italian fare to be found elsewhere in Guildford. Delicious and well presented. Staff were all young, friendly and attentive. Decent value. Venue was full and had a buzzy atmosphere. Great for a date / anniversary. Highly recommend.

Incredible as always. The food is so authentic, the staff wonderful, great service , always consistent and a wonderful atmosphere. There’s a reason we always return back. A diamond of a restaurant. Thank you.

Overall it is an excellent restaurant. Our starters were delicious. I was a little disappointed with my main, a salmon lasagne. it was a bit stodgy. OK but not outstanding

Authentic Italian tucked along a little alleyway in Guildford town centre. The chef arrived from Italy only about a year ago. I had the house risotto, the best risotto I ever tasted. My wife had pasta, fantastic fish sauce. The homemade tiramisu a must, generous portion. The chef said they charge £10, hence the big portion. Obviously he did not understand pricing in the UK, not yet. I then had my favourite sgroppino, well done.
