   A fantastic family meal. Great steaks and fantastic service. A hidden gem in the heart of Edinburgh. Well worth a visit!

   Having used this restaurant on a number of occasions all being pretty good this was a huge disappointment , Starter portions were frugal to put it mildly . Mains were uninspiring and the vegan meal came as deep fried ! Totally unexpected . Not surprised only three other tables occupied . Avoid

   Perfect hidden gem food was fantastic and pino noir was amazing will definately be back

   A taste of the California wine country in the heart of New Town Edinburgh. We enjoyed the vistas of vineyards and the opportunity to see how people think our wine country life is. The food and friendliness were on point for a wine country dinner. The location, a gritty urban lane off Rose Street, just adds to the pleasure.

   Fixed price lunch menu provided options for meat eaters, fish eaters, and vegetarians. Wine list included good selection of wines by the glass. Value for money. Portions good size - after 3 courses we were quite full. I particularly enjoyed the christmas pudding cheese cake. Service was excellent. Every time my water glass was empty someone would appear to refill it. Nice relaxing ambience in the restaurant. Will definitely return.

   Worse than Average the there were four of us in the restaurant, two sets of two it took one hour to receive a flat iron steak. Which was the highlight of the meal. The steak was cooked to the desired medium rare, the pepper corn sauce was poor the chips were of minuscule preportion. The meal was booked for 12:30 in the afternoon it took 1 hour and 45 mins to get out

   Lovely little hidden gem just off Rose street. Lovely meal, nice ambience and friendly helpful staff. Would definitely return.

    Great service. Grouse wasn't available and we were offered partridge instead. It was delicious.
