Cala Bella at Rosen Shingle Creek

Overrated and overpriced. Something has obviously changed.

Food was good, not fantastic. Waiter brought salads and soups totally forgot we ordered sample appetizer for 6. Waited 90 minutes for food, most complicated dish was chk Parmesan,
Had to ask for bread. Drinks took awhile to get.
We ate at the resort steakhouse the night before which was fabulous.
This restaurant lacked any sparks, food was fair, service lacking.

Service was great. Very accommodating

Oh my God! The beet salad is to die for. Great wine selection. I went back twice!

Even though the third course was served before the second, the staff made good and we had a nice salad for later.

Attended Cala Bella for Valentine’s Day dinner. Rosen Shingle Creek is a beautiful location. My wife and I visited it when we were looking for a wedding venue. It was a wonderful experience, the food was amazing and the drinks were top notch quality. Could not have been better. We even received a discount as we signed up for a rewards program with them. Needless to say we will be going back.

The food was ok, the calamari was good, the lamb chops were not that great, there are definitely better places to get better places to get a good piece of meat, this would not be one of them. We kind of got forgotten about mid service, ended up waiting on waters to get refilled and more drinks. Overall an average experience, this would not be my first, or second choice for a good dinner in Orlando.

If you are looking for a special place for dinner this is it! Dinner was outstanding and the service was very good.
If you enjoy being treated like royalty- then this is the place to go.

My significant other and I decided to try Cala Bella for Magical Dining for our anniversary. It took about 15-20 minutes past our reservation time of 8:00 to be seated, but we very much enjoyed the relaxing time sitting at the bar with some drinks. When we were seated we were treated by a lovely anniversary card signed by what I believe were most of the employees working that evening. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful, and he provided us with an amazing experience. He gifted us two small bottles of champagne, paced the courses beautifully, and never seemed to treat us any differently than those customers who were ordering from the regular menu (and likely spending more money). The food was some of the best we have ever had and we were so surprised when we were also gifted a lovely chocolate dessert for our anniversary, along with the two desserts included in magical dining. Needless to say, we had to take a lot of food home (not a bad thing). We both agreed on the way home that our experience was well worth what we payed and we plan to visit Cala Bella again after Magical Dining is no longer available. I am a PhD student, so our budget is extremely tight. We decided to splurge on our visit to Cala Bella and we both agree that we made the best decision! Thank you to everyone that made our night so special; we very much appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Service was the best in a very long time . Manager was above standards and his amount of compassion was impeccable. Food fresh , service , and attention detail fantastic. Thank you for great service .

We chose this restaurant during magical dining and are very glad we did. The food was very good the restaurant is beautiful.

My wife and I with friends had a wonderful dinner. It was our visit but most certainly won’t be our last.

Having recently travelled to Tuscany, Calla Bella was a world apart, I’m afraid. Service was too fast, 3 courses and a bottle of wine in 50 minutes! No coffee was offered and bread/olive oil/balsamic arrived with our main course. Wine was very overpriced as well. No coffee after our meal was offered nor a swift Lemoncella as is the case in Tuscany. The check(bill) was on our our table with dessert. All in all, disappointing but I am European after all, so my dining expectations are high. Sadly Calla Bella was typical of American dining.

We visited with another couple. We were seated in a lovely u-shaped booth. While enjoying our appetizer, a large group was seated at a long table across from us and the noise level escalated. Our server went to the manager and we were promptly moved to a quieter location. Our meals were delicious and would definitely return.

The food and service were exceptional .

A great place for some great Italian food. We went for magical dining, but we will definitely go back. The lobster manicotti and scrimp scampi were great. The magical dining menu feels like the regular menu items and not some cheaper version.

Tried this location for Magical Dining. The tiramisu dessert was delicious, but the rest was only ok.

The menu was tantalizing and made the selection difficult. Our selected appetizers, entrees, and desert were beautifully presented and tasted even better. The food and the service can only be described as superb. It was topped off with a generous portion of sinful flourless chocolate cake to commemorate our 52nd anniversary. Kudos to the chef, baker, and waiter.

Had been here a few years back but the quality and size portion are not the same, my steak was not tender although it was cooked medium rare as requested, the lasagna was undercooked although the sauce was good

Always an excellent meal!

Food was exceptional! Our group had lamb, sea bass and chicken parmesean meals and all were wonderful!
