Special Covid Restriction Hours:

Our Indoor Dining Table Service is curtailed to 4 days a week due to the government spacing restrictions and staff rostering. Indoor table service is available Friday through Monday. Bookings are not required but are recommended to assure seating certainty.

Our Express Window provides an abridged menu 7 days a week from 7am to 2:30pm, that you can take-away or eat in our self-service courtyard.

The cafe proved to be an perfect venue for our group's morning tea outing. Food, drinks and service were excellent, particularly given the large number in our group.

Orders forgotten, had to chase them up, some dishes served out of sync with others. Overall it was not a relaxing Sunday lunch at all. Staff however were easy to engage with if a little off their game.

My risotto was over cooked. The rice was splitting. The chicken in it was just a roast chook chopped into chunks. When I mentioned it to the wait staff they did not care. We had pre-arranged to bring a birthday cake. When the time came I asked staff to clear the table and bring it. I was ignored. Had to ask again and then had to get the cake myself. Staff not equipped to handle anything different.

Usually so great but very dissatisfied this visit. Restaurant was so hot our wine was served warm and our daughters drink warm and told there was no ice left. Good was cold and rushed and very average. Not the usual standard we are used too. On paying the bill and commenting on the warm wine etc we were told there was plenty of ice in the other freezer and why we were told they had none was weird. The waitress didn’t seem to know was odd. He didn’t seem to offer much other than a casual sorry. Over $100 seemed a lot to pay for very average food and service. Couldn’t wait to get out as it was so hot in there that day.

We were a large table and probably responsible for most of the noise. The reasons I chose Cafe Woodworks are: even as a large group we could order off the menu; they allowed us to pay individually; their customer service was great, they even joined in singing Happy Birthday with us. The food is good and varied. It is just a nice place to eat and spend time

We had a lovely birthday lunch. Unfortunately two of the dishes we initially chose were unavailable but the meals we received were delicious and not too large. The menu has a variety of meals to tempt everyone and I am looking forward to returning and ordering the risotto.

Staff were very friendly and helpful to seat our five family members for a birthday lunch. It was extremely busy and crowded so noisy too. They helped move us to our own space...quieter. My dish of pork chop with potato, no apple sauce was disappointing...$27. Others were happy with their dishes. Meat dishes need salad or more veggies... Thanks

Our visit to the Woodworks Cafe was excellent in most respects given how busy it was for Fathers day. We were greeted and seated quickly. We did have to draw attention to service staff to take our drinks and food order. Food was presentable and very tasty although one meal was served cold.

I can’t say I’ve been here that often but when I have I have enjoyed my meal, the service has always been top notch, the staff are always pleasant and appear to enjoy their work. Food was beautiful and good value for money. The online booking was very easy and I always appreciate that.
