Cafe Woodworks is a vibrant and welcoming space surrounded by beautiful regional art and craft. Our freshly prepared meals are generous in size and flavour, and made from locally sourced produce when possible. Our friendly and accommodating staff will greet you with a warm welcome.

Café Woodworks is a great place to meet up with friends and colleagues, and to celebrate life's special occasions. Whether it is morning cuppa, a satisfying meal, or a family affair we can cater to you.

Special Covid Restriction Hours:

Our Indoor Dining Table Service is curtailed to 4 days a week due to the government spacing restrictions and staff rostering. Indoor table service is available Friday through Monday. Bookings are not required but are recommended to assure seating certainty.

Our Express Window provides an abridged menu 7 days a week from 7am to 2:30pm, that you can take-away or eat in our self-service courtyard.

We visited cafe woodwork two weeks ago with my father and then again yesterday with my mother-in-law. Both times were extremely impressed with the menu which is new and very extensive. The quality of food was excellent. The service was amazing given that they were so busy nothing was too much trouble. The processes were exceptionally reasonable and we will definitely be back.

Great place to dine in. If you have visiting family and friends, bring them here for a nice experience, it’s an easy drive from Canberra, after the nice meal there are shops to explore.

We booked a table 3 weeks before we went. Drove from Canberra for a special day out and to look at the Woodworks Gallery. Had a lovely comfy spot for the 2 of us. Things went downhill from there. Read the menu, decided what we wanted form great Menu. Gave the order to waitress. Waitress returned and told us they were sorry but only 4 items left on menu for the day ( it was 12.30pm) as they were starting a new menu the next day and had run out of everything off the old menu which was showing for the day we were there. VERY disappointing and a big letdown for our day out. I was left with a salad with the calamari replaced with chicken my hubby with wagu burger on roll he couldnt eat as he is gluten free. Charged us full price. Very disappointing day out for us as was a special occasion. Have been before and was good, couldnt risk going back again.

Very disappointed in our experience. The menu now has very little options compared to previous visits. I had a piece of rock in my Risotto which topped off a very ordinary meal all round. We wont be visiting again in a hurry.

We had a lovely lunch and ended up staying for 2 hours. Even though it was very busy we were not rushed to order and leave and were able to wait until we weren't so full to enjoy coffee and dessert. Even though the staff were busy, they were always very friendly and helpful. The food was beautiful and I particularly enjoyed the very tasty rump and delicious scones! The price was very reasonable for the quality we received. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back!

Staff friendly and great service . Food ok . Chicken burger , chicken was a bit dry and didn’t have much bacon on it ..Seafood basket didn’t have a lot of seafood and calamari quite chewy . Chips were great though . Dory fish dish was excellent though .
