   Disappointing experience for brunch today. Slow food service, my meal was luke warm and quickly cold, the right words were spoken but no warmth, enthusiasm or welcoming feel. More like this is a job I have to do but I’d rather be anywhere else. The meal was noted on the reservation as celebrating a birthday; that was not acknowledged and certainly was not a happy experience.

   Wow, what a cool spot! We have lived in Lakewood forever and have never ventured out to this restaurant. Why? I have no idea. The location is great (ample parking close by), the restaurant has very cool outdoor seating, and the indoor seating is quaint and super appealing. The server and service were top notch x 10, the dinner menu options were excellent, and the food was above excellent! We just don't have enough BIG words to throw at this experience. Thanks, Cafe Terracotta, you made my wife's Birthday dinner a huge success!

   Overall a great dinner experience. The gnocchi and black cod / forbidden rice were fantastic. Love roasted Brussel sprouts but admittedly they were a little overdone / dry. Definitely recommend!

   The service and ambiance were average. We were seated quickly and enjoyed our cocktails. Unfortunately, the NY strip was flavorless, dry and nearly inedible. Multiple other diners made similar comments. Will not return.

   Food is always top notch . Gnocchi was fantastic, best I’ve had in years . Carrot cake is always good. Our waiter Garrett is always entertaining.

   The artichoke appetizer, swordfish main dish, and pomegranate mule were delicious. Our server was great, very attentive, friendly, and made us feel special. I love coming to Cafe Terracotta. It is consistently great.

   It was a prix fixe menu. Many of their normal brunch offerings were absent from the menu, like: chicken and waffles or cinnamon rolls. Our reservation was later in the day but it doesn’t excuse the fact that they had run out of soup and our beet salads had zero beets in them. All of us got the beet salad and not one beet. Two of us ordered the salmon and it was delicious but the rice that came with it was luke warm. The slaw with it was very good. My husband had the country breakfast and his was mostly okay. For $42 a person it wasn’t $42 of food nor was it $42 of good food. The dessert was tiny little carrot cakes— petit fours to go. There were three of us and one box of dessert— so who gets the box if we’re waiting to have it? I usually love this place but this was disappointing.

    Wonderful Easter brunch! I had the eggs Benedict and a mimosa and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Service and food were excellent. Others in my family enjoyed omelets and were delicious. They started us with a plate of delicious baked goods.
