Plus qu'un restaurant, le Cafe Spice Namaste est une institution culinaire. Il s'agit d'un célèbre restaurant indien, sorte de monument gastronomique appartenant à Cyrus et Pervin Todiwala. Il se trouve à quelques pas de la Tour de Londres. Depuis plus de dix-sept ans, il accueille des personnes du monde entier qui viennent profiter de la cuisine délicieusement originale du chef Cyrus ainsi que de l'aimable et chaleureux service de ce petit local au cœur de la ville historique de Londres. COMING TO CAFÉ SPICE NAMASTÉ FROM GALLIONS REACH DLR STATIONAs you exit the station, turn left at Co-Op walk up to the traffic lights turn right on to Gallions Road. Turn left on to Wallis Walk and right on to Shackleton Way then immediate right towards car park on to Hudson Way. You will see a footbridge at the front. We are exactly across the bridge. The walk should take approximately 4-5 minutes. The Elizabeth Line is now open, making West London feel a lot closer to the Royal Docks. Getting off at Custom House and taking the DLR to Gallions Reach can take between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on where you board. Join us on Friday, May 30th, for a Sustainable Seafood Dinner in collaboration with A Passion for Seafood and Altas Quintas in support of YFN (Young Fishermen Network), which is dedicated to supporting young people in the commercial fishing industry. The evening will be hosted by Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala at Café Spice Namaste and will begin with a cocktail reception. Following the reception, you will enjoy a unique four-course menu designed specifically for the event. The menu features sustainably sourced seafood from the skilled fishermen of A Passion for Seafood in Devon and Cornwall, with each dish expertly prepared by Chef Cyrus. Each course will be paired with delightful Portuguese wines from Atlas Quintas. We will gather at 6:30 PM at Café Spice Namaste, located in a scenic dining room with waterfront views, and the dinner will begin promptly at 7:30 PM. Tickets are only £85 including the wine.

My wife and I joined by chance a supper club on a Friday evening. Set menu - great food, great hospitality, a perfect evening out!

Had an amazing meal here! I had Bombay Chilli Cheese Toast (cheese on toast taken to the next level!) and a Beef Xacutti, a Goan style curry which tasted unreal, with Palav rice. Even met Cyrus Todiwala himself which was amazing! Also enjoyed seeing the aircraft landing at London City Airport! It's further out the city centre but if you can I'd highly recommend making some time to go there!

The food at Cafe Spice Namaste is superb - a great menu and such wonderful flavours. There were 7 in our party and the small plates were shared so we could each taste many dishes. It's a bit of a trek to get to the restaurant, but worth it for the food, the fine views across the royal docks and the warm welcome from the Todiwalas.

You can tell that these recipes have been worked on and perfected over many years. The intense flavours began with the freshly made dips served with mini popadoms and carried on through the starters and mains. All courses great including the deserts. Cocktails with an Indian twist were refreshing. Great location once you find it!

Excellent attentive but unobtrusive service. Food was brilliant with amazing flavours beautifully prepared with obvious entusiasm.

We came here last weekend while we were in London for a birthday, and we were staying nearby! We were all very impressed, the personal welcome form the chef, the quality of the food and the service were all absolutely amazing. One of the best things were the spicy margerita's - they were fantastic. Definitely recommend if you are in the area, will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon sitting in the sunshine being served a special meal. The concept of our food arriving as it was ready enabled us to all share the dishes being served by very attentive and informative staff. Cyrus and Pervin both took time out of their busy day to talk to us and even prepared a special dish for my husbands birthday that was not on the menu.
