   Everything about our experience was perfect. My wife and I shared a 6-shrimp cocktail and a beet salad. She had onion soup for her entree; I had the beef bourguignon. Her soup was very rich and cheesy; my beef was tender and hearty. We also had a baguette and a bottle of wine. I finished with 3 scoops of sorbet. The service was impeccable. The ambience was comfortable. The must was perfect. We will definitely be back!

   Reception was poor considering the high-end vibe the restaurant has. We had reservation and entered from the hotel’s side and sent a text as instructed when making the reservation (which is weird enough) then… were just left unattended there for quite some time. Eventually grabbed someone and learned that the reception is at the other side…the girl there was also cold and led us to the smallest table while parties the same size with ours who arrived later were all led to the booth-like tables (until they were filled). I hope it’s not about race. Food had decent size (we definitely ordered too much not knowing that). Beef bourguignon was excellent. Others were good too. The nitpick is I wouldn’t call trout roes caviar. On the other hand service was a bit slow. I can even see how the neighboring table was waiting anxiously same as us 😂

   Alway very good options from the kitchen. Isiah provided warm service. Dependable dining option in Penn Quarter.

   My son and I traveled to Washington, D.C. for a quick 24-hour trip. He introduced me to breakfast at Cafe Riggs. From the minute I walked in, I knew this would be an awesome experience. The service was outstanding and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. We will be back!

   Me and my girlfriend went out for date night and our server James was Fantastic, service was great, food was great. We then left our jackets with the coat check and went downstairs to Silver Lyan where the drinks were excellent. Great experience!

   The service from the host to our server and later in the evening the bartenders was outstanding! On our next visit to DC we will definitely be making reservations.
