Paradisio has been one of Redding's finest restaurants for 10 years. We take pride in making everything in-house, from scratch, and strive to source the highest quality in fresh, local, organic ingredients, wild-caught seafood, and all-natural beef & poultry to support the seasonally refined menu. We feature a local art gallery you can view as you dine, as well as live Jazz/Blues music on most Thursday nights! Top notch customer service, refreshing Chef special’s and a fine Wine/Beer menu are just a few examples of what to look forward to. A Redding native for over 25 years, Owner Marshall Glashan and Seattle veteran, Executive Chef Mike Hallead, strive to provide the highest quality dining experience for our awesome community to enjoy, as well as our many travelers passing through. Cafe Paradisio has become our date night/special occasion go-to. The food is always spot on, service friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the ambience comfortable and intimate. The beer and wine list always seems to have some great local offerings as well. Simply put they never disappoint.

We had the steak tartar starter...excellent flavor, then the filet with slipper lobster cooked perfectly with great flavor. The creme brulet was excellent as always. The server is alway on time with everything and very helpful.

During a business trip, I dined twice at Cafe Paradiso, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The server was amiable (homey is the correct description) and provided excellent recommendations. I tried the soup, garden salad, and chicken marsala the first night, and it was delicious. The second night, I had the Brussels sprout and asked for it to be slightly more chared, and the decadent taste remains in my memory. The elk burger was tasty but large enough that it was hard to bite into. The crisp fries were as I liked them. I will eat again at Cafe Paradiso and try the other dishes, soup, and Brussels sprouts.

Good food, and when we told the wait staff we had limited time, she served us nice hot food very quickly. We all four had different entrees and were all very happy with our delicious food.
