Founded in 1996 in the heart of theatre land, we are a friendly local restaurant, renowned for fabulous service and high quality fresh food at competitive prices. Downstairs room available for parties with no minimum spend.

    From the moment we walked in we was made to feel welcome. There was a celiac in the party and this was mentioned when booking, the manager was alert to this and made us aware that he knew and came to the table to explain the GF options. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant has a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was fresh and very tasty.The pizzas were thin, crispy base and delicious. The plating up was nothing fancy just good portions of hearty tasty pasta & pizza reasonably priced for the area!! 🍕 A enjoyable meal and time was had by all. I recommend you give Almalfi a try, I'm sure you too will come away very happy and full of delicious food 😋 A gem just off Shaftesbury Ave

    Food was good and the hosts were very nice. The reason for the overall score is we booked the pre theatre menu . We were then told as we had booked via OpenTable we could choose any of the starters and mains from the menu and we would be charged the pre theatre menu price When the bill came we had been charged for each individual item and when queried we were told we must have misunderstood what was said and as opentable bookers we were allowed to order from the main menu. This spoiled what had been a very nice up until then and felt like a little bit of a con. I would say that the food was good but I would urge caution and get clarification if ordering from the pre theatre menu

    This is a lovely little Italian restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden. We booked the pre-theatre experience, but when we arrived, the manager said we could choose anything from the menu and they would ensure we were served quickly. We chose a Caprese salad, a Bruschetta and dough balls to start and they were all delicious, with wonderful fresh ingredients. The dishes were brought out very quickly but without us feeling rushed. We all had pizzas for our main course and they were delicious Neapolitan pizzas with generous toppings. Overall, despite only having 75 minutes before our show started, we had a very enjoyable meal.

    We celebrated my daughter’s 17th birthday at Amalfi lounge and had a wonderful time! The food was great and so was the very friendly customer service! We will be back.

    We had a lovely evening with delicious food. The restaurant is so cosy, and decorated beautifully. The service was great, we will be returning.

    Highly recommend this place! The restaurant was very authentic. We had a stunning meal, the staff were incredibly attentive and charming. Great value for money and perfect location. Close to convent garden. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

    We had not visited before but it looked like a good place to catch up with friends. Our table for 4 was booked for 6pm and was ready when we arrived. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were attentive and service was good. Our party all chose from the pre-theatre menu and the food was excellent and very good value. As the evening progressed the restaurant became less busy but there was still a pleasant buzz. Would definitely recommend and look forward to going back.
