Cafe Longet

I would recommend Cafe Longet for both lunch & dinner. Their burgers are the best! The potato mousseline are so creamy and a wonderful side to any of the entrees.

Cafe Longet may be our favorite in Venice. Main dishes are always excellent and if you are in the mood for a burger, these can't be beat.

We sat outside on a warm and beautiful Saturday night. Service was friendly, attentive, and relaxed and we never felt rushed. Our meals were delicious and the fish was so fresh - 2 of us had Chilean Sea Bass special, 1 person had Branzino, and the 4th person had Risotto with Scallops. For dessert, 2 of our group shared the cheese board, I had the dark chocolate sorbet, and the 4th person had the chocolate torte special. I highly recommend Cafe Longet. This is our third visit and we will most definitely return.

This restaurant is such a gem. The food is exceptional. It has simple decor and people come often casually dressed even though it is truly fine dining. There is limited outdoor dining and the indoor tables are nicely spaced.

The Duck, Chicken & Cobia was delicious with a beautiful presention.

We celebrated our anniversary at Café Longet and it was the perfect choice—the food was outstanding, service was attentive, and the atmosphere felt comfortably distanced. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

What a surprise! This restaurant was completely off my radar which made it all the more enjoyable. My wife had sea bass and I had salmon. Both were cooked to perfection....not always easy with delicate fish. Presentation was perfect. Ambiance a bit sparse, but with COVID, we didn’t expect much. Service was spot on. This is my new favorite restaurant in Venice.

Another 5 star meal! We ordered different appetizers and dishes than last time in and all were perfectly prepared and absolutely full of flavor and delicious! Third time here, just amazing chef and staff. THANK YOU!

Everything was perfect I have to come up with a minimum number of characters for this review but honestly don’t know how to expound on my statement as I think perfect is an adequate explanation of our experience here!

Booked on recommendation of friends. Not disappointed. We had the special osso bucco and the branzini off the menu. Also tried the flatbread appetizer. All three delicious!! Would definitely go back. We ate outside so not sure about the interior noise level. Service was perfect. Prices reasonable for a quality restaurant. We brought our own wine and the corkage fee was reasonable. Strongly recommend.

We had a delightful luncheon with friends. The salmon burger was delicious and our guests were equally enthused about the quiche lorraine.

First visit and we were very impressed. We enjoyed the salmon and chicken entrées and dessert of triamisseu. Highly recommend this place!

We sat in a pretty room with just three tables. It was quiet and we were the only ones in the room. We love the classical guitar player and our meal was excellent. I had the sea bass which was delicate and had this delicious crust. We’ve also had the braised beef with mashed potatoes. Always outstanding and I had leftovers to take home. Order the flatbread for sure. You will love it. Save room for dessert. They’re all good.

We celebrated a birthday. We love everything about the wonderful French restaurant. The service is always friendly and not overbearing, the pricing is matches the value, and the food is always wonderful. I like trying different items on the menu and everyone thought their food was delicious! You just have to try their chocolate sorbet!

My new favorite restaurant in Venice. I can’t wait to return and try more items on the menu.

We have eaten many times at Cafe Longet, this time I tried the Salmon and Cilantro burger - fabulous.
