Great service and great staff.
Love it. Sweet servers. Calm, well decorated space. Amazing food.
They make eating healthy EASY! The serving staff knows answers to what is available and modifications they can make if needed.
Great food and restaurant. Love the regular vegan foods, but they could do with changing the menu a little more regularly. Been going for well over a year and it’s pretty much been the same.
Need to start varying thedishes more or come up with a weekly/monthly special.
Great service great food excellent experience all around
I loved Cafe Gratitude! I thought the food was all incredibly delicious, and I loved that it was all vegan! The cafe was also very beautiful and pleasant to dine in. My main issue is with the service, which was very slow, and they forgot one of our dishes. Still, a wonderful experience with healthy and delicious food.
perfect place for vegans and non-vegans open to try good food.
We loved the technique of ordering. Awesome and positive vibe in the restaurant. Great empowering food/drink nicknames
I liked the creativity in the menu and the overall positive vibes. The only contradiction is that it does get pretty loud, so maybe you could work on the acoustics of the place. Considering your concept and the importance you give to lighting and ambiance, sound is something that definitely needs to be worked on.
The food was good, but on this visit the service was v e r y S L O W. Took forever for our server to ome back to our table to take our food order after bringing the drinks. We were hungry. After trying to flag someone down to help us another server went to tell our server we needed something but didn't deign to come to our table to see if they could help. Please put some team work into this restaurant! Any server should have been able to help us.
Overall the staff is Great and the food was great! My only question is why there is a vegan restaurant in Little Italy? I thoroughly enjoyed the food as this was my second visit. I wish the location was elsewhere. I come from North County and going down to Little Italy, I would rather eat Italian then go vegan.
I have ordered from this vegan restaurant several times, but this was my first time eating there. It is clean and comfortable. The food is always good.
Fantastic food, and very pleasant service! Coworker and I were in town for a conference and came for dinner, we enjoyed everything very much!
Went here for the first time on Sunday and it was awesome! Maybe a little out of my price range but as a college student- what isn't? Would make sure to stop by again.
The food is not to be missed. But noisy is noisy. Not energetic. Ordering via affirmations is a bit over the top. When they came up with this idea in a meeting they must have been serving too much organic espresso. Get past all that and it is a wonderful place to dine, not simply to eat.
We enjoyed the Whole and Evolve bowls. Delicious and very fresh ingredients. Excellent service, comfortable booth, and we were able to store our luggage with the host during our meal. For local, organic vegan food absolutely worth travelling to!
I am not vegan or vegetarian but I loved this place. It’s what you’d think of when you think SoCal - light and bright decor with marble and wood accents. The staff is extremely friendly. If you have any sort of food allergy they have a “book of knowledge” that gives you every single ingredient. My friend has celiac and an almond allergy and it wasn’t a problem at all. We ordered the guacamole, buffalo cauliflower and broccoli raab as appetizers - they were all very good although my favorite was the cauliflower. I ordered the burrito with fries instead of chips and my friend ordered the burrito bowl. We each loved our meals. Our server Olivia gave us some excellent recommendations of places to see while we’re in town. We loved it so much we are planning on going again for a pre-flight dinner before we leave.
One of my favorite spot for vegan eats when I visit San Diego. It was Taco Tuesday and the roasted squash tostadas were the best tostadas I’ve had anywhere. Always a fun place to hang out with friends
They could not prepare a very light latte
My first visit. Impressed by the menu and service.
A heaven for vegans. Fantastic farm to table concept.Fresh tasting food.
Quick and healthy options!
The menus vary and the choices delicious.
AM parking available. Not so later on.
Always a treat ! Healthy, nutritious food. Ben is our favorite server in Little Italy Cafe Gratitude !
Our server was nice, but the food was not impressive considering the price. I have made similar or better food at home and I don't think that justifies the price. My friends and I tried numerous vegan places for our friends and this was our least favorite. Though our vegan friend that night did enjoy the meal for the mushrooms.
Wonderful experience. Food was delicious and Ben took such great care of us. He let us taste the pesto to make sure it didn’t have too much garlic for our picky faces before we ordered. He split our kombucha and offered to switch out my friends meal because she liked mine better. We didn’t accept but we thought that was awesome. Oh and the restaurant week menu was a great deal. I may go back again this week.
Terrific food very unique. I would return.
Terrific food very unique. I would return
Delicious vegan food. I am grateful. Warm atmosphere. Attentive, friendly service. Great food with positive affirmations. A breathe of fresh air.
Great food and vibes
Really tasty and flavorful, perfect for an evening, they are very creative with their dishes and they have happy hour with a wide selection of wines, beers, cocktails, kombucha.
Perfect for vegetarian and vegan diets but really good for carnivores enjoying a free meat day! Totally recommended.
We found this eatery a month ago and we have been twice! Delicioys food choices and ALL vegan.
The food is delish and I LOVE how they work the menu & ordering. I also love their gratitude posts throughout the restaurant. The food was delicious and flavorful! I look forward to going back next time I’m in San Diego!
Hands down one of the best Vegan restaurants. Even carnists will enjoy the food. Locally made Komucha (Mango) was the best I’ve ever drank.
I love eating here when I visit San Diego. The food is fresh, organic and creative. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The setting is light and airy. Even if you don’t always eat a plant-based diet, you can find something to enjoy here.
Deeeee-lish-us and generous portions
Blah blah blah
Food was wonderful! Jesse was awesome and gave us attentive service. So many other options on the menu to return for and try!!
Delicious! As a vegan, I appreciate having this restaurant local and available to many.
I hadn’t been to Cucina Urbana in years. It was delicious then and is still delicious now. My husband and I went to celebrate our baby who’s due in a few days and had the best dinner we have had in a long time. We had the beet salad, arugula salad, short rib pasta, bolognese, and gnocchi. Omg it was so good - all of it. We topped it off with the Nutella zepolli and ice cream sampler. We went a little overboard but enjoyed every bite. Our waiter Jason was outstanding (both in service and personality) and paced everything out perfectly. We will be back as soon as we get another chance...
Just delightful! Creative tasty menu w plenty of gluten free options. Friendly atmosphere. Great location in Little Italy.
Worst service I’ve ever had at CG. We were completely ignored by our server. Everything took forever. Luckily food was great, as usual.
