   Fabulous food and service. Best halibut I have eaten in a long time. I loved the date night menu. The wine suggested by the Sommelier was a perfect compliment to our entries. I have been vacationing in Steamboat and dining at Cafe Diva for 20 years. This remains my favorite Steamboat restaurant year after year.

   Wonderful date night special with good selections for starters, main courses, and desserts. Unfortunately, the cocktails were small and overpriced. The dessert cheesecake was also a bit dry. Otherwise we had a great experience. Marissa was a stellar server.

   Casey was a great server. The shrimp crabcakes were especially delicious and the halibut had a good mixture flavors. This is a great restaurant for special events.

   Cafe Diva continues to be a truly special place to dine. Great service. Knowledgeable staff. Fabulous food. The three pea salad was spring in a bite. Surf n turf was delicious. The seared scallops were prepared perfectly and the foods served with it were delightful.

    The food is great and very consistent with past wonderful experiences. We were seated in the bar area as opposed to the more intimate and quieter dining room. I should have asked to move. Prices have risen to the point where I’m going to look elsewhere for my favorite restaurant. I live in Steamboat and know how expensive eating in the town that I love has become. I might have to learn how to grill my beef tenderloin at home, better.

    Cafe Diva is the best fine dining restaurant in Steamboat, Routt County and beyond. Chef Kate Ranch and her wonderful staff conjure up the tastiest dining experience with fresh locally sourced ingredients. The wine list is off the charts. The desserts to die-for. The ambience is superb and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful.

    Great service and great food at one of Steamboats top restaurants. Chef Kate is incredibly creative and prepares consistently high quality dishes. The fact that she has been with Cafe Diva for 20+ years says it all. Great wine list.

    We brought our family for dinner and it was amazing. We knew it would be. Shared 4 appetizers among 6 people: PJ and bacon, tuna poke, steak tartare, and mushroom brussels sprouts spring rolls. I don't even like brussels sprouts, and these were delicious. Entres included duck confit with a salad, a beef dish (filet mignon?), market catch and scallops and grits. Everyone was thrilled with their choices, and grandsons mooched off the adults to try everything. I can't tell you what got ordered for dessert, as I was too full to look at more food.... Cafe Diva is quite expensive but so wonderful. Maybe skip a dinner out somewhere less original and go to Diva instead? Make it your vacation big splurge! You won't be sorry. (plus, Casey, our server was great as always.)

    food very good. bit chilly in table in doorway. specialty cocktail more like thick juice. used to be a favorite but wasnt as good as our visit in fall. prefer ambiance cocktails and food choices at The Laundry.

    Second time here while skiing in Steamboat. Super mellow and quiet place with excellent food. My 12 YO kiddo even raved about the buttered spaghetti; "the pasta was cooked perfectly." My husband and I split the surf and turf; perfectly done but super rich so glad we shared it. Tomato/crab bisque also delicious and comforting. A splurge to eat here, but worth treating yourself.

    As far as fine dining experiences at ski resorts go, Diva holds its own to be sure. Not too big, not too small creates a nice joint where a proper conversation can be had and not overheard. Where the waitstaff, from the moment you arrive is as attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable as could be imagined. Almost made me think they were programmed robots as perfectly executed it all was... LOL Kidding of course, staff crushed it. House cocktails thoughtfully designed... the paper moon was subtle and yummy. The mushroom and Brussel sprout spring rolls flavorful and surprisingly lite. The pork belly peanut but bites are inspired, but a word to the chef…too many flavors confuses a palate. Going easier on the sauces and having more confidence in the flavor of your primary ingredients is something for you to ponder. The special Seabass lite and flakey. The lamb shank was fall Off the bone. But again while tasty this chef is trying a little too hard! The abundance of sauces over power things and fillers like the Gruyère Cauliflower purée can be tone down. Chef..less is more, let the love you put into the main ingredients shive thru, resist the need to overcompensate and you’ll truly find ‘it’. Lastly the Mexican Chocolate Mousse, yum. Still despite my nuanced feedback, Cafe Diva is a Steamboat standout. We will return.

    Best meal I had during our stay in Steamboat Springs! Great vegan options for my niece, which was a nice bonus. Cocktails, appetizers, entrees, wine, and dessert- all top notch and excellent. And, the service was wonderful. I highly recommend Cafe Diva to all!

    A gem. Been coming to Steamboat for years and for some reason we hadn’t tried Cafe Diva. Apps were great, the butternut squash soup was out of this world. Tuna tartare was great as well. The venison was perfectly done and not like your typical venison. Great wine and we will be back on our next visit to ski.

    Diva is a magical dining experience in the mountains. Chef Kate never disappoints with her innovative and well executed dishes. The wait staff is always at your service, carrying on the tradition of Daryl, sadly with us only in spirit now. A well selected and diverse wine list compliments the food. Diva is fine dining at its best…..in a warm atmosphere devoid of pretension with sumptuous portions.

    Very expensive and did not enjoy the food at all. Will not go back. Service was great and lovely warm place to have a pre- dinner drink on date night but the chef is way off the mark with the menu.
