Café Deco is a restaurant & wine bar in Bloomsbury. We serve classic, broadly European food, with a focus on the best possible ingredients. To keep in step with the seasons - and to keep life interesting - we change our menu every week. And we do the same with our wines too - sourcing the most delicious bottles we can find from small producers who work with minimal intervention, sustainably and with respect for the land and the vine. Our list is always changing and we love nothing more than to help you pick the perfect thing to drink.

Nestled in our little corner of central London, our terrace buzzes on warm sunny days into the evening and inside hums to the sound of conversation all year. We want you to feel welcome, looked after and at home.

First visit in over a year, but as good as ever. Outwardly simple dishes, but such purity and intensity of flavour, eclectic and interesting wine list and charming service. Won’t wait a year for the next visit!!!

Very underwhelmed. Had saved the Bon Appetit review and was very eager to dine. Very uncomfortable seats but at least we had seats. An elderly three top was perched at a high-top and was unsure if they would make it through dinner. Menu was interesting as written but very expensive. Certainly NOT good value for money. My niece ordered the poached chicken and tongue plate for 30+ pounds. What arrived at table was a dry looking chicken leg and a 1/3 portion of breast, two carrots and two slices of tongue with a small puddle of apple horseradish chutney. Have never had a slice of apple rhubarb pie that was inedible. Met one at Cafe Deco.

Food was tasty but the portions were small and expensive for what we got. We left feeling hungry and disappointed.

The first few times I went to your fantastic and I feel like the value is really gone down plates are really expensive and quite average this time. The waitress was rushing us at all times.

One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Perfect balance of ingredients and spices. Haddock chowder to die for. Everything was excellent.

The best full meal I’ve had here yet. Never failing to change or disappoint is the best egg mayo I’ve ever had with those perfect anchovies. The asparagus was the best I’ve ever had out, perfectly cooked with the most 2die4 anchovy butter - it was life altering, especially paired with their fizzy pink wine. The trout with sorrel sauce was out of this world I found myself just eating the remaining sauce off of my fork it was so addictive. And that strawberry cake just no words for how light and perfectly ripe the strawberries were. Still Cafe Deco can do no wrong for me. I am always awaiting the drop of their weekly menu for something that makes me stop everything I’m doing to come by. I didn’t get their names but the two waitresses I had serving me were so lovely and welcoming 🩷🩷

Lovely little cafe, very local vive We enjoyed the inventive food, good wine, wonderful staff and great people watching from our chairs overlooking the tables on the sidewalk
