Live music 4 nights a week in our Piano Room
Cafe Centro is a stylish and chic restaurant with a warm and comfortable ambiance. You are surrounded by exposed White Savannah Brick walls and high vaulted ceilings from the 1920"s. Local artist's paintings adorn the wall that changes monthly to support the local community. The cuisine is high quality at a fair price and ranged from Free Range Chicken to fresh seafood and homemade pasta's and Gourmet Pizza. The Cafe Centro Piano Bar has entertainment seven nights a week during the High Season and the Piano player starts at Seven O'clock. The room is warm and cozy but, elegant as well as charming. We also offer dining on our outdoor veranda along side of Bougainvilleas and lush greenery and beautiful Gardenia.

Great food staff and wonderful jazz music on Wednesday followed by Motown on Friday. Complete 👍
Great entertainment. Slow Service. Mediocre food. We waited an hour for our entrees.
Entrees were served before we finished appetizer. Sent them back. When they served food came out cold and we sent it back
We absolutely love coming to Cafe Centro! It is always a fun, upbeat good time! The energy in the room is so great-it doesn't matter if the service is good or the food is delicious-but it just so happens that it is all of the above. We bring many of our out of town guests here as well as friends, family and business associates.
The world needs more piano bars and places like this-dancing in the aisles and everyone is happy and smiling.
I had an early reservation so we were the first one’s to dine for the evening. The staff was very nice! The food was delicious. We did not stay for the live music but will definitely be back.
Excellent customer service and excellent value on a great night out.
The best food and entertainment. Wednesday’s Jazz is terrific and Motown Friday is jammin. The management is excellent especially Majd the floor manager. Always friendly and accommodating.
I ordered soup and a slice of pizza. The pizza was not the slice I ordered. A glass of wine was listed as $4 on the menu (before 6 P.M.). I asked the waiter if that was the true price. He said yes. The bill came. Price of glass of wine: $14. Either the waiter didn't know or the restaurant took advantage.
Had a really nice time. Saturday night: very good food, friendly, attentive service and wonderful entertainment.
Waitress not very attentive. Had to get her attention to come over....
A favorite place of ours. Excellent food, ambiance, music. Changing the wine list. Owner is always available and staff is very welcoming.
Good menu with a ragout pasta that was delicious. Great bartenders and lively, albeit a bit noisy, energy. Had a few drinks that hit the spot. This was a last minute change after my destination was unexpectedly and permanently closed. I hope to revisit and garner the same and more extensive experience. Definitely some tasty items on the menu worth returning for.
Good food & lots of fun.
The most fun, ever! Food very good, people so friendly, Joyce, the owner was enthusiastic and wanted all to be happy.
Fabu Cuisine... Food with Flair
So good I took other Friends the very next night... They loved it too
Great entertainment. Fun party night!!!
Our server Chelsea was excellent, the food was good. No ambiance - loud music from the back room blared from a speaker above us that kept having bursts that sounded like guns erupting.
The food is very good and it was 1/2 price night for a bottle of wine. We went on a week night, early dining (6:30) and the restaurant was almost empty. Really should be busier because it is very nice. Have been there in previous years, in season, and it was packed. Folks should go at this time of year, too, and support the place.
Celebrated a co-workers Birthday, had 6 lady friends, we had the best time. Danced all night, waiters/waitress are the friendliest, professional & welcoming. thank you
Great bronzino! Really noisy
Great music. Food mediocre. Service not great. We all had a great time as the music was fabulous.
The menu has been changed since we were last there. Limited selection on the new menu. There are no “conventional “ dishes.....veal parm, chicken francese, pasta alla vodka. Most of the selections are not routine. It’s odd, Maybe this is what the management is going for but the place was very empty. Too bad, previously we had very good dinin experiences there. Won’t be going back.
Food was tasty
It was a birthday celebration, the server or restaurant did nothing about it. Normally every restaurant comes with a complementary dessert or at least singing happy birthday or something, but here nothing.
The food was just blah!!
8 people reservation and nobody loved the food.
I loved the octopus but that’s it.
They charge for the bread that it is totally empty inside, it is just like a empty case.
Who charge for bread? No even Olive Gardens does that.
We have high expectations about the food but we were all disappointed.
The bass boy let a plate fall and almost hit my head, the food was over my legs, they brought my meal right away... the bass boy apologized plenty of times, server too. No manager came to the table to say anything.
The music was lovely, but unfortunately crazy laugh, you can talk and literally we had to scream to talk with each other.
No coming back but I hope they can make improvements for future customers.
Food was alright. Service was spotty. Bar very slow.
We joined friends for dinner, at the time we made the reservation we didn't know that there had been changes to the owners. The new menu was simpler than the old but still suffcient and some nice new addtions. I ordered an item from the "old" menu and its preparation was improved, the taste deeper and subtle, plus a nicer presentation and generous sized shrimp. My husband ordered the Bolonagese and was happy. Our friends ordered the Salmon and the grilled oysters and said they were delicious. We had a caesar salad (much better than before) and the avocado crab appetizer (lots of fresh crab). The bar area was lively with music and people dancing, initially we went for a quiet table in the dining room. An unfortunate choice- shortly after the arrival of our appetizers they sat a very active, screaming child who ran around the room and had adults that ignored him at the table right next to us. Since the dining room was almost empty, had the food not been as good as it was that unruly child would have completely ruined our evening. The child and the piano room were on par. We were happy with the menu improvements and will go back... maybe for dinner in the piano room.
We hadn't been to Cafe Centro since last summer and we had company in town and when ever that happens we always put it on our to-do list because of the entertainment, Ray Chang. Well we got there and started to order drinks, I specified mine to be in a tall glass and received a short one. Looking at the menu was quite a surprise, they had simplified it, maybe a little too much.Cafe Centro was never known as a gastronomic delight, but it was known for the show after the meal. I ordered a house salad, with house vinaigrette, which was brought to me with no dressing on it at all. The bolognese was pleasant. I ordered an unsweetened ice tea . When I tasted it it was quite evident that it old and had turned, so I chased down a waiter to give it back to them. Then it was time for the entertainment and I noticed that Ray Chang was not there that evening. I asked the maitre d about the entertainment and was told that Ray was no longer here. Then they started. All I can say is off key and sophomorish at best. The act is so campy and bad we left during the third song. I guess I got to find out where Ray is playing. Hope the food is better!
We love Cafe Centro and are always guaranteed a great time between the ambiance and the piano player/singer! The food is perfect for the setting and we've never had a bad meal there!
We are constantly introducing friends to Cafe Centro and they love it and bring their friends back!
Very disappointed in this restaurant.. very limited menu, service was poor, and the food was below average
Had lots of fun, music & dancing. Dinner was good the waitress was exceptional "Luna.
Dinner in one room for nice conversation, after dinner went into the lounge for Blues on Monday came back on Saturday night for dinner, dancing & great music.
I was extremely disappointed. The piano player was fantastic.. it went downhill from there. Appetizer of calamari was awful and looked awful. Ordered entree Salmon came with smashed potatoes & spinach. It looked totally unappetizing. The salmon was on top of the potatoes and spinach! The salmon was dry & the potatoes & spinach were refrigerator cold. My son ordered linquine with shrimp it was very oily & the pasta was soft . Seriously? The manager took the salmon back & did offer to make a new order. We declined. Instead ordered 2 Margarita pizzas. They both were oil soaked. You could see the oil on top! I brought both boxes home ....the boxes were soaked in olive oil by the time I arrived home 12 minutes later. They both needed to be tossed in the garbage. The place is dark no table cloths ... the server did try his very best. Obviously I would never ever go back. We were all hungry when we arrived bed home & the prices are not inexpensive. The restaurant was recommended to me calling it the “very best in Italian food”. I’m sorry I made a reservation with high expectations..... it left a lot to be desired.
The service was a real disappointment. Served main with cold polenta had to be asked to get some warm - took a long time. Didn't bring requested bread until reminded. Forgot to bring requested condiments. Octopus good but rest of diners disappointed.
I didn’t realize the place had changed ownership. Different entertainment which isn’t as good. Limited menu.
A case of trying to change a winning formula. Wait two years and it will change ownership again.
Fun and engaging entertainment. The night begins with more mature music your parents will certainly appreciate. As the night progressed past dinner the material shifted into a dance party focusing on disco and sing alongs everyone knows and love.
First time visit. Food was mixed and mostly because of the three appetizers I ordered all three were served, at best, luckwarm
My wife had grilled oysters that she loved with a pizza as her main, crust was quite good but sauce left something to be desired
We will return in order to get a more accurate read of their capabilities
We have been going to Cafe Centro for years during our stay in WPB. We were surprised by the changed menu and the shortened amount of choices. There used to be a lot more fish choices.
Great experience all around. Will be back for sure.
Not sure what's happening here. Haven't been to the restaurant in some time. Maybe it was just an off night during the holidays, but it certainly wasn't the way it used to be - vibrant and lively. Pizza was very good, but room was glum, chairs were uncomfortable, and hardly a soul there. Hope it was just between busy periods. Sadly, not sure we'd go back.
Nice outdoor seating in a historic West Palm Beach neighborhood. We all enjoyed our meal. Good selection of appetizers ....pasta and small pizzas. Also some larger entrees, but none of us tried them.
Went to Cafe Centro 3 Times in the past. This time they changed the menu. Waiter said they changed owners. Before I always ordered Chicken Parmigiana and it was delicious. Now they don’t have any parmigiana dishes on their menu. Are you kidding. I ended up having pizza which was horrible. Don’t waist your money here.
