The Café Brio, located in Victoria, has been a local favorite for twenty six years, serving up a rustic, Italian inspired menu. Focusing on regional products, Café Brio led by multi awarded Chef Sam Harris selects the highest quality ingredients from local sources to be used in authentic, creative dishes.

At Café Brio, everything is prepared in house. Pasta favorites include gnocchi with roasted leeks, parmesan cream and basil purée, Spaghettini with tomato, garlic, basil, olive oil and parmigiano and also our wild mushroom risotto. From the Sea enjoy seared scallops with peroxides, delicata squash, carmelo and bacon anchovy vinaigrette or our local fish feature. Lastly the Parry Bay Lamb feature from our friends out in Metchosin is an absolute must.

The wine list is extensive with input from multiple Sommeliers on staff always excited to share their new favourite bottle in our unique and cozy dining room.

Everything about Brio exceeds expectations. The food quality is first rate. The innovation in preparation is excellent. They source their products with the environment in mind. Service is attentive. We visit every time we’re in Victoria.

The food, the servers and the overall experience was great as always. Really refreshing to see all the server genuinely enjoying working there. It really adds a whole different feel dining here, as if you were there as family rather than a random person.

We sat at the bar and split the bolognese and Scallops. The food was delicious. Bartenders were courteous and responsive. Atmosphere is cute! We highly recommend.

Excellent food as usual and service. Enjoyed the half order of scallops with perogie and the contorni vegetable appetizer. Delicious! We’ll keep coming back. The staff is very attentive and warm. It’s now our go to lately for enjoying a meal out. Thankful!

THe service was friendly and efficientl! We enjoyed the deal of coming in early (when we normally eat anyways) and getting the 3 course special. Great teamwork of the staff!

We enjoy the ambience and service of Cafe Brio but have been disappointed in the food the 3 times we’ve been since it reopened under new owners. Halibut dry and disappointing, perogies quite tough each time. We’re hoping the previous quality of cooking returns soon.

The food was delicious and imaginative. Beautifully presented. The service was was excellent and we never felt rushed even though it was a busy night. We will definitely recommend this place and hope to dine there again.
