Café 101 is a teaching and learning café and kitchen operated by Daytona State College culinary students, under the supervision of our chef instructors.

When you step into Café 101, you enter an environment that rivals some of the finest dining establishments in Central Florida. A beautiful atmosphere pairs with the aromas of gourmet delights created by our culinary students. Patrons receive an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and beverage.

Lunch is $14 (including tax)
Vegetarian meals are available by request and must be requested at the time of reservation
Gratuities are welcome and help fund student scholarships
Credit cards are accepted at Café 101
Café 101 is open to the public - seating is limited and reservations are required.
Café 101 is located in the Mori Hosseini College of Hospitality and Culinary Management (building 1200) on the Daytona Beach Campus.

Starters

French Onion
Caramelized Onion, deglazed with a house brewed American Lager, simmered in a flavorful Broth and served gratinee.
Caesar Salad
Crisp Romaine Lettuce, Imported Parmesan Cheese and Toasted Croutons tossed with House made Caesar Dressing and served with Parmesan Crisp.

Entrées

Parmesan Cod Romesco
Fresh Cod loin, Parmesan crusted, pan-fried with a Roasted Red Pepper Romesco Sauce, roasted Garlic Yukon Gold Mash, and Pan-fried Zucchini Cake.
Lamb Lollipops
Double bone lollipop Lamb Chops, sous vide rose' and grilled with Mint Gremolata, Blueberry Balsamic Reduction, roasted Garlic Yukon Gold Mash, and Pan-fried Zucchini Cake.
Chicken Caprese Panini
Marinated and grilled all-natural Chicken breast, pressed on Ciabatta with fresh Mozzarella cheese, Roma Tomato, wilted Spinach, Basil Pesto spread, Balsamic glaze, and served with Pearl Cous Cous Salad and Parsley Parmesan Fries.
Soup and Salad
Enjoy a Crock of our Soup selection and a Hearty Portion of our Salad with marinated grilled Chicken.

It's a treat to have such a wonderful dining experience in Daytona Beach. I love speaking to the students about their plans after graduation. They are all so friendly and eager to make our lunch a memorable meal. The menu is so creative and skillfully prepared. I have had the privilege of eating in some of the best restaurants in the world. I can honestly say that the attention to service at Cafe 101 rates up with the best of them in New York, Los Angeles and London.

Cafe 101 always delivers in quality quantity service cleanliness and overall a delight! This is a wonderful program being offered and the students are so creative talented and super sweet. We LOVE.going there and it's always a treat! Have nothing negative to say about this offering except WE WANT MORE!!

We have been big fans of Cafe 101 for decades! It is such a cool program. We enjoy not only the food, but meeting the culinary and hospitality students who help with the lunch. It is an amazing value. This was our first time doing the buffet and we really enjoyed it!
