First time trying this restaurant. It seems like it can’t make up its mind on what it wants to be. But a top of the line steakhouse it’s not. Its steaks are middle of the road. You can get better at Austin’s or Saltgrass. I ordered the ribeye and my wife ordered the prime rib. Both were on the thinner cut side and not real appetizing. Again better steaks can be had at many other restaurants. I was curios tot try this restaurant but was disappointed.

I think Legacy Chophouse is underrated. It is close and convenient for us, so we have eaten there several times and the food has been consistently first-rate. Their salad bar and side dishes are superb for a restaurant in their class. We will continue to visit this underrated gem in the Shops at Legacy.

The whole drink person and server is stupid and confusing. Maybe sounds good/I think it’s high class in theory. But I think it really cuts down on the lack of service you could give to your customers. I have been in several times now and either one is good and the other one is not or vice versa.

I’ve been to many restaurants with this concept and pricepoint. The service here was lacking. We thought our server had forgotten we were there. We weren’t explained any items on the menu, which is customary at an expensive meal. I wasn’t in any hurry and like a fine dining experience that isn’t rushed. This was different. Felt lost track of and like we were a bother. No one bussed tables so we had dirty appetizer and salad plates on our table that we had to move out of the way when our main courses came. Main courses came, dirty dishes and empty drink glasses remained. My scallops were good, the salad bar is fresh. Our drink service waitress was good and attentive.

I have to say you need to up your game if you charge those prices. Never have an issue to pay for value. And I did not short the staff.

Our experience started off poorly and only went downhill from there. Our server, Erin, took my boyfriend’s ID and examined it for a solid two minutes, clearly skeptical because he’s from out of state. She hesitated to hand it back, then later returned and refused to serve him his drink until he handed over his ID again. It was an uncomfortable and unnecessary interaction that set a terrible tone for the night. After that, she treated us dismissively—checking in on the table behind us multiple times and completely forgetting about us. The food was bland and lacked any real flavor. For the $200 we spent, we expected a far better experience. Honestly, we would’ve had a better time at Texas Roadhouse or Cheddar’s. Between the overpriced, underwhelming food and Erin’s rude attitude, we left frustrated and disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We celebrated a couple of birthdays and an anniversary with dinner out at Legacy Chophouse, and we had the BEST time! Both servers (beverage & food) were so personable and attentive; they even brought out a slice of cheesecake with an awesome blooming flower candle for our daughter’s birthday…and that was a hit! And the food was so delicious. Salad bar, filet kabobs, center cut, scallops, coconut shrimp…all amazing. And the kids meals come with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. The fresh strawberry sauce and caramel ice cream toppings our kids got were even of the highest quality. It’s been awhile since I’ve been this blown away by an entire experience at a restaurant. We will definitely be back.
