Rc's Chargrilled Oysters
garlic butter, parmesan
spinach, bacon, pernod, parmesan
I had the grilled shrimp with the lobster risotto as one of my sides. All I can say is it was DELICIOUS! And the service was superb!
Our waiter was a bit of a prude...but we got through it. Food was very good but pricey. I've been there before and my experience was much better...so I can't base it all on one experience.
Service was a tad slow but everything else was great. I’m sure it’s a short staffed thing because every time I’ve been here its been a great experience.
Food was excellent. The blackened salmon did not disappoint. Service was very good. But they had no bread to serve, and they were out of several other menu items. The prices on the website menu need to be updated. Everything on the menu has increased by 3-5 dollars. They do have a dress code.
Food excellent - on the pricey side - 1 king crab leg 40 - clam chowder awesome - strawberry margarita awesome - old fashion awesome - service awesome
Service was great!! Food was delicious!! The environment is beautiful but too load.
They have the best selection of oysters, and the service and food is always great. My favorite seafood restaurant.
The service at C&S is literally the best ever. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about the menu, and know their wine pairings. The staff is very understanding and accommodating to Covid concerns, and guests who want to remain socially distant. The drinks, the appetizers the fish are all perfection. Do not miss this place. Prices are high, but the value is equivalent.
This is one of my favorite places too dine, but not today. It took about 25 minutes too get our food and the preparation wasn’t up too par. The chargrilled oysters were over cooked and I received my salad without any salad dressing. I could understand the late arrival of our meals if the establishment was packed, but there were only about 6 too 8 customers. I literally watched my oysters being prepared and sitting under the warming lights for quite some time. Our waiter was very unattentive too your needs. We had too keep looking for our waiter or ask other employees for the things we wanted.
This was our 29th Anniversary meal & it was perfection, from the welcoming at the entrance & checkin, to the chargrilled oysters, my husbands salad & our entrees, I got the twin lobster tails & my husband ordered the surf & turf
C&S is a great place for lunch. I had a Caesar salad with fried oysters, and my friend had the shrimp poboy and clam chowder. All were fresh and delicious.
The food was absolute wonderful. And, our waiter, DeWitt, was so well-experienced, attentive, and assured that we had such a memorable experience. He anticipated our needs without being in our faces! We will request him the next time e we go back!
LOVE C&S!!!❤️ I enjoy dining for lunch and dinner! As much as I order the fish, I find I also enjoy a yummy burger or steak! Yum! The restaurant has excellent service and the cutest GM-Arnold!
Food was excellent. Only complaint was they did not have any bread for the table. Apparently it was running late.
Three of us ate together. Two of our meals were perfectly prepared. The flounder was very dry and half was left on the plate. Our server noticed and the charge was removed from the bill. All the staff was very responsive to any request.
Really disappointed that lobster roll wasn’t on the menu.also only two dessert options. Service was great.
Good service and great food.
First visit to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Don’t let the location in the Kroger strip mall deter you. The inside is well decorated and inviting. Large bar area with raw bar on one side and seating on the other. Nice drink menu with good selection of wine and both draft and bottled beer. We started with the char grilled oysters. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Freddie our waiter suggested we get a dozen and we were glad we did. For entrees my wife went with the blackened cobia with lobster risotto and me with the branzino with potatoes and broccolini. Both cooked perfectly. They paired well with a nice bottle of Pinot Gris. We shared the delicious creme brûlée for dessert. Our waiter Freddie was excellent. We will be back.
Delicious food and service
Friendly and professional service. Menu updated with great new selections.
Rebecca was AMAAAAZING! and so was Arnold (the manager) … I think that’s his name. My experience is always superb!
Overall I enjoyed the experience at C&S Seafood to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious, especially the Oysters Rockefeller. I had the cobia with fingerling potatoes & brussel srpouts. My husband had the sea bass with fingerling potatoes and Brussels sprouts. He thought the portion size was small and was still hungry so we ordered more appetizers but i was quite full after my entree. It is a smaller restaurant and our table was closer to the kitchen which is open into the dining room, so it was a little warm but not uncomfortable.
Our server did not do a good job of coordinating our meal. We ordered drinks and after a while ordered an appetizer. The appetizer arrived fairly quickly and we then had to remind the server about our drinks which had not arrived. This scenario was repeated with the entrees. The entrees came and when our server, rather belatedly, came to check on whether everything was satisfactory, she had to be reminded that we had not received the wine we had ordered to go with the food.
Our server was good and attentive,
Our drinks were very good and they were not stingy with the alcohol!
Appetizers took a lot longer than expected to arrive to our table-the Shrimp spring rolls were good, that sweet chili sauce used for dipping was delicious and my friend said her crab cake was very good.
I ordered the Salmon with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts as my main course and that was meh. The Salmon was a nice size filet cooked very well, however the seasoning was almost non existent and the same can be said for the mash potatoes. The Brussel sprouts has a nice crisp to them with slightly more seasoning, however, overall my main entrée was bland.
Excellent evening at C&S for service, attentiveness, wine selection and cuisine
Everything was great. Even if you ask for something not on the menu they always come through. Started with their char grilled oysters. Always good. Had the blackened Cobia and it was perfect. This is the best place in town!
Food was outstanding...Sea Bass Entree to die for. Melinda provided exquisite service! Thank you Arnold for saying 'hello' and making sure everything was great.
First time the girls had gone there. Grilled oysters were very good but very tiny. Loved the music. The soup, salad, 1/2 sandwich is a great deal. Clam chowder was full of clams. Very nice restaurant. We will go back.
We had an awesome time!!
I’ve come to C&S many times but was very disappointed in our experience last night. The restaurant was so hot (not sure if there were issues with the AC) but we were sweating throughout our time. Our appetizer plate was cleared without us being asked and before we were finished. I ordered a glass of wine and the quality of the pour was terrible. I asked the waitress if it was a 6 or 9 ounce pour and was told 6 but know for sure the pour was less than that. For a $16 glass of wine, I will know never to order wine here again. I realize restaurants are short staffed so I will be gentle in the rating of service as we had to ask for water refills, get our plates removed, check out, etc. for the price of the experience, it was simply not worth it.
Best Seafood Seabass every had. Oysters and Calamari appetizers top notch.
I come here very often but came for lunch yesterday and while the food was excellent, the wait time for food was not acceptable. They did offer us a free desert because of the wait time (over an hour after we put in our order we received our lunch of the soup, salad and sandwich combo). Having a free desert is fine, but when you are on a time crunch for lunch and you have already been there for 90 minutes, you cannot stay for desert. I know staffing is hard right now but would be nice to have some service during the wait to apologize and to see if you are able to wait that long. I will be back because I love the food and have been coming here for years but I hope my next experience is a little better.
C&S never fails to amaze me. The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. The ambience was amazing, not to mention the drinks I had were phenomenal. 3 Hennessey margaritas and I must say for the bartender to never have made the drink I was completely satisfied. I had the pleasure of being waited on by Kenyonia , I believe that was her name. I surely remember her pleasantry and beautiful smile. She also recommended a few items which were PERFECT! can't wait until my next visit, is exciting to bring new people and witness them enjoy the same experience I do!
Excellent food and service, we always enjoy this favorite of ours!
C&S is my go to seafood restaurant. I love this location the ambiance dark and sexy makes date nights very special. The food and service are amazing. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a special place for dinner!
The crab cake was not good and when expressing that to my waitress and the manager, not 1 thing was done about it.
Our server, Findley, was EXCELLENT!! My husband and I were celebrating our 26th anniversary and he made our evening extra special.
Prices have increased and the service was mediocre, at best.
Service and food were great.Very nice dinner.
Tonight I got an off menu special & it was delicious my husband ordered the king “special salmon “ & he really is soiled now he will only eat the king salmon from C&S . The food is always expertly prepared & served that is top notch. We always start with chargrilled oysters & usually share a Cesar salad because I don’t eat but like 2 -3 forks of salad, my husband likes to think he shares .
