Bygone’s warm & welcoming atmosphere is reminiscent of an old-school social club, while our open rotisserie grill, whiskey bar & craft cocktails add a flair that is contemporary.

Mathew was outstanding
Everything was wonderful
This restaurant was a beautiful experience, the atmosphere, the hospitality was out of this world. And the waitress was very friendly.
Beautiful place, great service and great food! We will definitely be going again!
It was loud due to a party and yhe elevator wasn't working on the way down, but everything in between was really wonderful
The food was so good!!!! But the table of men next to us were loud!!
Great food and beautiful views. Pricey so be prepared. Server was very nice and helpful with ordering but could have definitely been more attentive. Large periods of time without checking in. That said, the wine service and SOMM were excellent.
Excellent experience. Our server, Marcus, was phenomenal
Our Server was an expert. He explained the menu and wine selection from top to bottom. He was superb. I like the view and kindness of all.
The food was great, the drinks were excellent and the views were breathtaking.
Desserts overpriced for portion size. Enjoyed the view.
We had brunch to celebrate my birthday. The view is spectacular. The food was delicious. Our server, Rachel was upbeat and attentive.
70th birthday celebration
My wife and I were first time patrons and enjoyed our Sunday brunch. We did not have any issues with the food or our server. We did not like how the dress code was policed. We both dressed business casual for the meal. I wore slacks, shoes and a collared shirt, my wife wore a jumper. While eating, two parties arrived, were seated, and enjoyed their meal while wearing jeans, sneakers, and a tee shirt.
Per your strict dress code policy, these patrons should not have been seated due to their athletic wear.
Thank you and have a great day.
The service, vibe, food and view were amazing. The personal touch of a card acknowledging my birthday was also wonderful!
Not my first visit to Bygone. I thought I knew what to expect and was surprised - and not in a positive way. The restaurant is very attractive, you cannot beat the views (stunning!) and the service is consistently superior. The issue was the food. We order stuffed lobster and the stuffing was good enough for a family picnic - basic, bland, un-imaginative. Truly a waste of a nice lobster. The appetizers of scallops (there were only 2, small ones) was also un-eventful, but adequate. The carrot cake fell completely flat. None of this would matter much if Bygone was a mid-price, everyday venue. But it is not - it bills itself as one of the very top eateries in Baltimore and it charges as such. It was not a place worthy of its accolades, it cannot continue to rely on ‘cool’, great views, girls-night-out, special-date meal; the food must still stand out on its own! And finally, apply your dress code - awful to see some of the trash that walks in, if we wanted to be in such company we would have gone to the Fells Point market.
Outstanding ambiance, service, and food. This was a wonderful dinning experience.
This was our second visit to Bygone and both times were absolutely fabulous. From the moment we were greeted downstairs to our departure everything was outstanding. Thank you very much to our waiter, Alex, and his associates for making our birthday evening a memorable one.
I proposed , however that aside , the ambiance , the decor , the service , the food was all exceptional and exquisite.
This place is a definite must. One area for improvement, however, is the way diners are handled upon arrival. I think the restaurant struggles to manage the guests who are not eating dinner. We arrived at 5 pm, but wanted to to have a cocktail at the bar first before our meal. We were told that we would be giving up our window table if we did that. It just put a damper on the rest of the evening, especially knowing that our bill for 2 was $500!
Spectacular views, great food and perfect service
From the staff to the food to the view we could not have asked for more. The food was some of the best we have ever had, we will be back. You must check out the bar and the up stairs whiskey bar.
Anniversary. Very nice
We had the Dover Sole with vegetables
It was superb!
We only had drinks, but they were fantastic. The view and the ambiance are great! Thursday evening at 5:30 was not crowded, but it started to get more people by the time we left at 7pm.
The food was not as good as we hoped., but the venue abs presentation was lovely.
View, good, and drinks are stellar. We enjoyed some of the very best dishes from their menu, price was as expected for the overall experience. One startling concern was a runner brought the wrong glass of wine to our table which is not a big deal. However when our waiter arrived he picked it up and moved it to the correct table. I had not drank out of it but we are still dealing with covid. The wine should have been disposed in my opinion. It made it a little uncomfortable for a 5 star restaurant.
My wife and I had to wait 30 minutes after making a reservation two weeks in advance for our wedding anniversary. The waiter had to be found after our appetizers were served. Our drinks were mixed up. The portions of food were small for the prices. I was shocked when I received my prime rib. The ambiance was delightful. I enjoyed the music that was piped in. The hostesses were the best. This was my first time there and will probably be my last. There needs to be a better balance with the food portions and service. I feel that this caliber restaurant left me wanting more.
I would recommend the Crab cake, it's a pretty good size and very delicious throughout.
Went for Sunday Brunch.
The only vegetable was a salad
There was no poultry or cooked fish
There was shrimp and raw oysters
Dessert: Cookies. No cake, sorbet or ice cream
The menu was quite limited.
Did not include coffee.
We had to ask for water and coffee refills.
Had to ask for silverware as well.
I do not recommend at all.
Review for brunch: This place is for carb lovers. Anyone who wants to eat healthy, this is not your place.
There are croissants of every filling, bread, biscuits, bagels, huge muffins of all varieties, waffles and French toast.
The salad is craft your own with lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. Such a lack of creativity from a restaurant. You think they could have a few pre-made salads that actually were interesting.
They had the standard bacon, sausage, carved meat and omelet station.
Dessert was the smallest option I ever experienced. Chocolate chip cookies, raisin cookies, s’mores tart and macaroons.
They need to learn from the Georgetown brunch at the 4 seasons how to do it correctly. At $70 each, there should be creative options that are unique. Not something I can get anywhere.
It is not very Covid friendly either. No windows or doors are open, allowing fresh air in. Everyone is serving themselves, touching the same tongs. Why not have an employee hand us the items this they are the only ones touching the tongs. Every time we went up to get food, we had to all remember to hand sanitize.
My boyfriend and I went to the Bygone for his 21st birthday . He loved it. I was expecting something a little more romantic. The music was quite loud which took away from the romance. My food was not good, I got the chicken and it was a little dry but the mashed potatoes I got with it were really good. The review is absolutely beautiful. Parking was easy with a garage right under the hotel the Bygone is located in. And parking was only $10. It was a nice experience I don't think I would go again.
Beautiful environment and service. A little too loud and packed for the price point. Delicious food (5/5).
Great service and wonderful food. The views and ambiance were excellent, we will definitely be back!
Very incredible here. It was a date night with my husband. The view was great, you can see the whole city!
The food... the drinks... the views... all left me speechless
Hm. Well…. Went with friends. Great views! Amazing! Ask for them! Otherwise you may get a table not window. Food was pricey and some portions quite small. Quality of portions was mediocre. Would go back for views and have “A” drink…. But overall - super disappointed.
It was ok. This was the worst experience I have had at the Bygone. Likely due to Covid.
I treat my friend for a birthday dinner, ambiance was perfect! Everyone was very friendly and inviting! The staff immediately wished my friend a happy birthday. They also gave him a birthday card, that was a nice touch. Drinks were fabulous! Bygone Daisy was perfect. Bread and olive oil was very good! To start we had salmon ceviche was delicious❤️ Burrata salad was tasty ❤️ ordered rack of lamb and ny strip steak, mushroom and mash potato. Lamb was lacking flavor, chimichuri sauce on ny steak was great! The only negative was the mash potato was so salty we couldn’t eat them and the mushrooms taste raw like eating card board🙈😩 our waiter was great but when she came to the table and saw we didn’t touch our sides she didn’t ask or should any concern🤷🏾♀️ we ordered carrot cake for dessert expecting a big slice of carrot cake but we got a small Twinkie like, but thankfully it was Good! The waitress also surprised us with a mocha cake with candle! That was really thoughtful of her! All in all very nice evening spent at the Bygone
It was good
We had a great experience at bygone! Delicious food with an awesome view of the city. The ambience was a unique 20s feel. When we come back Baltimore we will definitely be coming here again
