   I had a reservation and when I arrived they only had a table in a sort of hallway to the kitchen bc they had other large parties. We waited a long time to have our orders taken and they weren’t offering their table d’hote bc they were busy with their other reservations. Why even let me book if you are too full and too busy to provide a good experience. We didn’t like the service and the vibe was not good so we paid for our drinks and left.

   Way too expensive for a simple buvette. Your bill is basically paying for Old Montreal and Instagram-worthy decor. The food menu is quite ordinary, but the prices are those of a high-end restaurant, which this is not. Very wide selection of wines. The service was sluggish and not very professional. You should align the quality of service with your listed prices.

   Belle découverte dans le Vieux ! Le service est cordial ! L’atmosphère est agréable et la bouffe est excellente ! Commandé le sandwich petit déjeuner et les pancakes. Très satisfaisant ! Je reviendrai !

   We came back to this restaurant for a special occasion, expecting the same great experience we had in the summer. Instead, we got what can only be described as a culinary prank. We ordered the burrata to start, they served it with a stale, sad little ice cream cone that tasted like it had been sitting in a storage closet since the early 2000s. Confused but hopeful, I politely asked for some bread and addressed the stale cone. Fifteen minutes later nothing. A food runner checked in, I mentioned we were still waiting. Another 10 minutes passed, and finally, we received… two tiny pieces of sad bread. The cocktails? Overpriced, but that’s fine if they’re good. Mine came in a glass so sticky that every time I picked it up, I had to fight the urge to wash my hands and my life choices. When I brought up the whole burrata-cone disaster to our waitress, she didn’t seem to care. just pure “not my problem” energy. At that point, I asked to just pay for what we had and leave. Instead of addressing anything, the waitress hit me with, “But your other food is ready.” Oh, is it? That’s cute. Maybe focus on fixing what’s already on the table before pitching the next course like a used car salesman. As we were leaving, we noticed the manager and waitress standing at the exit, yet neither of them offered any solution or made any attempt to make things right. It was clear they couldn’t care less about our experience. For a place with prices like theirs, the lack of customer service is honestly mind-blowing This place was such a letdown. Our Valentine’s Day dinner turned into a scavenger hunt for edible food. Thankfully, we left and grabbed sandwiches nearby, which were phenomenal. If you’re thinking about coming here, do yourself a favor skip it and go straight for the sandwiches around the corner.

   Belle ambiance, cocktails exquis, belle carte de vin, nourriture excellente, prix raisonnable pour une soirée de qualité. Service agréable. Nous recommandons sans hésiter! Belle découverte!
